Miles on the tC? Trade-In value? Might be selling mine rather than trade-in.

What's the issue? If someone would give me 10k plus what I paid for the car I'd be an idiot not to do it. |

There's a difference between someone going "I'll pay you 35k for that car!" and "I'm selling my car, 35k minimum"
While it is a free country and free market, and I DO agree that it's smart business sense to sell for more than you paid for it, I don't know anybody that'd buy a Scion for at least 10K over sticker. That and the fact that the dude's asking that much but is DAILYING the car until it is sold rubs me the wrong way.

i dont know for you guys...but here in canada, this car otd price is around 32k for the white one with special paint, blah blah blah, if he add any aditional protection or whatever, depending on local taxe, its maybe close from 35k, so saying he try to get 10k over the price, its not really true.

I got out the door, everything, including an 6AT for $28K, and that was with a rip-off $600 doc fee (don't get me started). His would have been less than that by at least the price of the transmission. 1st86 units didn't have any options on them for the most part. |

The process of the First 86 Revised!!!
Here we go! I feel that each of "First 86 FR-S" should be going to the people who were chosen. If one of the "First 86 FR-S" can't take delivery on the vehicle whether financial reasons or didn't like it... It then should be turned over back to Toyota & go down the order of the list of who applied into that program.*
Example: Dadhawk didn't want to take his "First 86", cuz he changd his mind. Now there's an FR-S sitting around to be bought. Right? Rather than any regular joe shmoe coming to buy it, Toyota is notified & the vehicle is offered to the person who was next in line who didn't make the cut. Mr. #87, #88, #89, #90 & etc... That should be the process that should have been followed. For the real enthusiasts who will cherish & pass this vehicle on to the generations. For the person who watched this forum site everyday smiling at each news feed. That is what I believe is right!* He will regret letting go a peice of history down the road.
