I've done NA w/ e85 (currently doing that while preparing and installing other mods) and a broken belt was nowhere near right now. Not even close...

EDIT: I see you're running the same FlexFuel kit on E85 close to 100% of the time. Its surprising that you feel they're the same.

Oh, no... not the same feeling at all. Just like I said normal City driving, so no pedal to the metal or high RPM's. So at low RPM's and just doing my regular in City routine it's fine. Of course if I try spirited driving then I do feel that I'm not boosted. What my point is that I have a normal working non-boosted car without a belt. If that makes sense. Limp could mean a lot of things. But yes it's not as much fun driving not boosted.

If you mean limp by not having that much WHP then I agree with you.

I had a belt problem as well, but not the Kraftwerks S/C belt. My accessory belt fell off after a hard shift into third. See my other post here. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81319

My car overheated cause the water pump stopped working. I towed my car home via AAA. The next morning I found that one of the OEM idler pulleys seized (the one to the right of the crank).

I have a new part coming on Tuesday. Hopefully replacing the seized pulley will fix the problem. Hoping it won't be too much of a pain in the ass to remove the KW/Rotrex assembly to get at the idler pulley.

I will be replacing my accessory belt as well when I install the new SC belt & pulley's. Are there any better accessory belt than OEM out there?

I'm only aware of one belt claiming being higher quality than OEM - Gates Racing Blue http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Gate...tine-Belt-Blue

I just went with another OEM belt (the OEM one I had was a Mitsubishi) since I don't think it was a problem with the belt itself.

I'm running the gates blue belt. It appears to be beefier than stock.

I've heard someone say you can do the blower belt without taking the blower off. But the accessory belt needed the blower to come off. I think it's 3 or 4 bolts. Just get a buddy to hold the blower in his hands and slip the belt around. Obviously have the other belt off first.

To clamp the evap hoses under the intake manifold which route did you guys take? Remove intake manifold or remove the ac compressor.

I took the squeezing random tools in from the front and back of the manifold, and cursing a lot route. I needed to clamp mine after the SC was already installed, so didn't want to remove anything.

If you're just now installing the kit, I'd go the a/c compressor route

Quote from CJ about being able to drive the car without the SC belt.

"Yeah, just stay below 4000 or so to be safe."

I already have it installed so we can't take the ac compressor off.

Remove belt, remove most bolts that get in the way. You can do it without removing the SC plate I believe. I think I only took the SC off to do a belt.
