I recommend wiring a separate external power and ground. The secondary O2 plug shares a ground with the throttle body, which seems particularly sensitive to noise and voltage fluctuations.

There was a thread buy Shiv from OFT where he was saying he was going to make a pnp unit for this but I guess that are working on their turbo kit first.

But you should get the power from the fuse box, and ground it to the bolt right there or wherever else. We have the low pro fuse taps in the online store or you can get one wherever you'd like for that. |

I just got their flex fuel kit with the rear O2 sensor option and I've attached a picture of the cable I received with it. @moto-mike is this what folks can expect?

@moto-mike So with that harness do we just remove the factory rear O2 harness altogether, plug the connector into the now vacant slot, then crimp the other end of that white wire to the analog signal wire from the wideband gauge......yes?

First thing, sorry for reviving such an old thread but this guy's full of info. I've noticed the process has evolved quite a bit from having to cut the ECU wires to plugging a harness. Just wanted to ge the correct and most current info. I have contacted @moto-mike so while wait for that, how's this thing installed. The guage is installed then wideband 02 bolts onto slot 2 replacing oem 02 and using its connector then wiring a power and ground to it? Is this power/ground for the gauge in general or for the 02wideband sensor aside from the guages power and ground? Whats the 02 extension that some are getting from Mike for? Thanks

You will connect your Wideband gauge connection as normal, from the O2 harness into the Wideband gauge inside the car. Now, you need a Wideband gauge that has a 0-5V output cable (example FAilsafe gauge). You will use the Wideband output 0-5V cable and connect it to Moto Mike's harness, and will plug said harness into the car's stock rear O2 electrical connection. I wish I had that option available when I did mine, it looks very clean.
