Not necessarily, it goes to intent I believe. But, was said above, we could debate this for a really long time, and this isn't the venue for it.

I see no problem with that. The Harlequin VW's were super rad, and I wouldn't mind having an 86 Harlequin.
On a somewhat related note, sucks that a lot of Harlequin's got repainted into one colour in order for them to sell. |

Also be careful there, while I think it'd actually be pretty cool, you might find your car featured in this thread

![]() All slow, no go. And all that $$$ on wheels could've made it at least a somewhat fast car. This scene sucks.

What do you expect? The car falls into a niche that isn't out of financial reach for most young male. It comes with the territory. I fear even more down the road say....5 years later when they drop even more in price. |

Thankfully I think the overall popularity of the "ricer" movement has waned a bit.
I'm not saying it isn't out there, it's just not as prevalent as it once was. The grating sound of "fart can" exhaust systems isn't encountered as often (not in my areas anyway), and I see fewer cars with unpainted, poorly installed body kits driving around. That said, I'm sure there will always be some rice out there. Heck, when I had my springs installed, the manager of the shop told me a guy in his 70's had been in there with his FR-S to have lambo-doors and a ridiculous wing installed. He showed me pictures of the car. It was Hot Lava, but a more apt descriptive phrase would be "Steaming Poo". Something tells me that guy has a grin on his face when he's driving that car though!

Because he posted his own car. (I read people's links in signatures when I can) It also has a sick bag system tuck away and seat heat relocation to make access point for bags.
personally, I'd find a way to clean up the controls, but it's a respectable build, though not my thing. I don't think I'd want bags. As an Edit: @ImBatman you made a comment about autozone preverbially throwing up on a car. I believe it was "Stock plus underglow and ugly spoiler" and you called him an embarassament, if I remember correctly. So let's take a second and ask: What if he loved the look of that hella stanced ride but the best he could afford was the old-fashion "Cut the rung of springs" for lowering, he really wanted the $500 5AD spoiler but had $80 between feeding his kids, or wanted to splurg on that sick underglow he just saw in import tuner but the best he could muster was autozone's vomit comet? I feel you. This isn't my cup of tea. I see the car and feel it's incomplete. But I don't know the dude. For all I know, he's got a full kit in the garage or a jackson Sc that's about to be installed and the only thing keeping that tail to the floor is that ugly ass shopping cart handle of a wing. Let's point out the pic below. It's a Scion tC that to me, looks ugly as all get up, but it is 100% function over form. and if I were racing it like Chris Rado is, I would do it too.
