Alternatively, what if I were to temporarily flash the stock fuel map and force open the wastegate? Take logs with 0 boost and then revert back after scaling is finished. Any risks doing that? |

@Skorov why do you want to scale the MAF? If the car is running fine then there isn't really any need to.

there is a table in ecu flash called "front oxygen sensor scaling" that you can adjust to come pretty close to the wideband sensor. The thing is you need to log a known good wideband and the cars O2 at the same time.

OK, awesome, thank you so much! I'm going to try again tomorrow to see if I can get it working correctly. Thanks for checking!

If we're scaling to use E85, should we do it on straight 98, or 44/6L 98/E85 for 10% E like US 91 fuels?
For straight 98 it makes sense to scale on straight 98. |

The oft guys probably scaled using something like E70 content then jacked the Open loop scetion of the scale about 5% or so to make sure it always ran on the rich side even if E% went high. Ig you going to use E flex then your going to have to compromise and scale on the average e% and see how it copes with the variance then maybe jack the ol scale a bit if you find it runs lean on increased e%. Its always going to be a compromise without a flex fuel setup. Foortunatly ethanol is a forgiving fuel on NA motors. |

Hey all, I did some logging with the OTS Stage 2 UEL tune from OFT, and I have a bit of a dip in AFR as seen here:
![]() I did some maf scaling and it pulled quite a bit of fuel in the dip, but now I have a touch of tip-in knock correction (-0.69 IIRC) when going WOT. I played around with the EL comp table (lowered the values in the table in the rich spot, they were at 3.1) because I figured that would lean it out, but it seemed to have almost no effect. What's the best way to get rid of the rich spot without making a big sag in the maf scaling? |

I have to admit, this is all a bit overwhelming coming from Megasquirt using one VE table and one IGN table, heh. |
