Hopefully they recorded exact millage. Then it would be a no brainer if it had an extra few miles+ on it afterwords

Cars get moved all the time throughout transit. Shifting them around, moving it to a different truck etc.. Apparently this is an unregulated sector and a lot of shit goes on.

So I guess I'll put my self on the list for blown motor registry..

Sorry to hear this bro, sad to see something that you took such good care of destroyed by immaturity and irresponsibility. I'm glad to hear you had enough foresight to take plenty of documentation before it was sent.

In the end, if the new buyer doesn't have an issue with the car fax report, he might come out on top with a pretty much new set-up. The only thing now is time and patience in processing the claim. If you have full receipts for the parts listed that would help the new buyer with his claim.

Wont it still let you downshift if the revs are too high?
Or does it have a safety lockout if you use the paddle shifters?

It only lets you downshift when in range of the next gear. It will hold revs in manual mode however..

You can downshift muktiple gears at a time but it wont it still let you downshift if the revs are too high?

It won't let you downshift into an overrev. And just like the MT it has a hard rev limiter that cuts factory. Most tunes put a soft limiter in place that you can bounce off of to your hearts content.

Buyer, I was purchasing a G35 and when i received it the transmission had a chunk missing off the bottom and fluid all over the undercarriage and vehicle. It passed every inspection before it went on transport. I went through the companies insurance and was handled promptly. I do not recall the transport service name. It was over 4 years ago.

Did you have a contract with the buyer? When I was working one of my responsibilities was transportation management. Part of the terms of sale should be when ownership is transferred. It will typically look like "FOB destination" or "FOB origin". There are others as well. Ultimately if the contract specified this, it will determine who has to deal with the loss, buyer or the seller. It's a crappy situation regardless, and if what you say is correct the transportation company is on the hook. Sorry you are having to deal with this. Keep us posted.
