Don't feel bad. I was convinced they we're the same wheels a couple months ago, too, until one day I took a closer look. But, it would make sense to is the same wheel casting for cost savings reasons. So, I'm baffled why they would make a different wheel that looks so similar and be the same dimensions.

Understand...Subaru's are like Tinker Toys...they do everything for a reason..on my 99 Wagon I have parts ranging from 1999-2009 on it.. meaning that they can use as many parts as possible for different vehicles..for instance... if you ever want to upgrade the brakes on the BRZ...you can use STi components (calipers, 04STi rotors, and 08 plus stainless lines)...Another instance would be the rear sway bar...Stk on the BRZ is 14mm...if you wanted a minor upgrade...a o8 plus WRX uses a 16mm...and the STi uses a 19mm...they are all the same bends..

Thanks for Clarifying ..Joe definitely is the man..I use his site for alot of things...

The brakes have been discussed elsewhere and due to the reverse mounting of the BRZ's brakes, and the differential piston bores and bleed location of the Brembos, the consensus seems that it is a no-go.

I understand....but they 'could' work if someone wanted them to.. meaning they bolt on...might not be optimum......I merely was using it as example..

But not differential bored, so you just switch L->R and R->L.

For 100% the official answer is....

17 x7" with a 48 offset. I just pulled one off the car and checked.

Ditto on what Bill said. Measurements would rock. Hell if you test fit then that's even better!
