It may not be common since there may not be as many people who keep their OEM headers and cats and even if they do they may not be pushing their cars that much, but why risk it? to each his own of course
if you think about it, the distance between the cats and the heads are pretty short so I wouldn't take any chances, and take all the precautions in advance, but that's just me

Yes I live in new york, I'm not into street racing or drag racing but I would like to have more boost power in my car whenever I feel like just going real fast in the high way or just showing off but thats it. I do like to take it to the track one day. I'm not real crazy trying to be professional racer. I just like to make the FR-S/ GT-86 more quicker.

Wow i just did my research and jackson racing has more power then kraftwerks and its cheaper too if you select the do the tune your self option in jackson racing website. 4 grand for the SC. I think I will pull the trigger in spring

Has anyone tried to reroute the front intake piece on the JR kit to minorly mimic the kraftwerks setup (outside of the engine bay)?

Is there any disadvantage to how the Jackson's is sertup vs how the KW's is setup? I feel like that is the second biggest difference, with the first being the mounted placement/position of the C30
