The ease of installing this kit is ridiculous...I mean really I could give my girls the instructions and they could have it done in one day.

dynapack's are inflated, so they don't seem that high adjusted to dynojet:

10% adjustment
295 * .9 = 265.5whp (the blog post)
315 * .9 = 283.5whp (the more recently tuned vehicle)

8% adjustment
295 * .92 = 271.4whp (the blog post)
315 * .92 = 289.8whp (the more recently tuned vehicle)

Seems like you could reach 300whp w/ 94 and a few other mods either way though.

Get a chance to drive it? Curious about the nvh, have been thinking about purchasing those.

Is it $1500 to upgrade to the C38 down the line? Whereas, at time of purchase it is only an extra $200 to upgrade the blower.

People will tell you they melt, but I've had them on mine for about 6-7k miles and no melting signs. The only problem was the engine was vibrating my oil cooler loose. A bit of lock tight will cure that next time I get the bumper off. At a stop light it vibrates but it smoothes out at above 1500 rpms.

In post #2600 and #2601 I confirmed with KW that it would be around $1140 outside of any tax or shipping for an upgrade.

On a different note, looking at that dyno chart again it actually crosses 300whp (dynapack). They probably have a good reason but I wonder why they didn't take that number instead of the 296whp. It does seem like you might be able to get 300whp (dynojet) with bolt-ons and an aggressive tune, but maybe not much more. (barring e85)

Like the others said, mine too is a bit rough down at low RPM's. Once it hits about 900 RPM the vibrations stop.

This is why I suggested the group N mounts. No vibrations even at stock idle rpm.

This kit comes with a C30 option right as described here: http://cms.kraftwerksusa.com/id/950/...harger-System/

However, on this page, where you would place the order I assume, they don't show a C30 option or am I blind? http://store.kraftwerksusa.com/super...t-compact.html

Looking at it, the labeling scheme seems to be, unless otherwise stated as a C38 kit the kit is a C30. Once you click on a kit the discription will tell you if its a C30 or C38.

Example PN: 150-12-1306B states it's a C38 kit while PN: 150-12-1301B just says black housing with tuning, but once you click on the link and read the product description it's says "Kraftwerks is pleased to announce the release of a brand new intercooled supercharger system for the new Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S. At the heart of the new system is the Rotrex C30-94, which is the same supercharger used in the extremely successful Kraftwerks 2006-2013 Honda Civic Si system."

I don't think "inflated" is the correct word to use, Reads higher yes, i would even say more accurate as the wheels and tires do not play a part in the numbers like they can on a roller. But the wording inflated, is like saying a engine dyno is inflated. they read higher for a reason. same car with just a wheel change can read 15-20 hp different going from new tires and heavy stock wheel to a smaller light wheel and tire set up over inflated. I wish everyone used Hub Dyno's. I know that's not what you were talking about on purpose, but i cant stand when people claim Dynapacks are junk, or over rated, or over inflated. they read different because your taking 60-70 lbs of rotational mass out of the equation.

You're right, inflated is not correct here - reads higher is better.

I'm not knocking the dyno, it has it's virtues, just explaining that those numbers aren't as spectacular as they seem because they come from dynos known to read about ten percent higher across the board. In terms of relative scale (accounting for reading higher) the numbers are average.

Thanks man - I was on my phone looking at this stuff so it wasn't as convenient to click around from page to page.
