back in 1991 people praised the NSX because it was Japan's first supercar, it was "affordable" and it was one that you could live with on a day to day basis.

So yeah the new NSX and the new Ford GT are both very nice, but if they're destroyers of the spine, then there's no point in owning one unless you're a millionaire and you have many alternatives

by road tests I mean what are they like at normal speeds? because 90% of the time you will be going at road speeds.

do you see where I'm coming from?
Gotcha, If nothing else I bet the Acura is far more livable that other current supercars. Whether or not a focus of comfort/luxury leads to a castrated version of what could have been, remains to be seen.

Performance aside, I like the NSX's profile quite a bit:

also i was making a point, Rocket Bunny's on everything these days, so I'm saying it's a safe bet that they will be runny rampant at TAS 2016.

wheter or not they look good is another story.

Side profile is incredibly similar to an R8

Regardless, both still sexy looking cars

I don't think so at all, and in fact now seeing both side profiles the new NSX looks fantastic (from the side). Love the shorter hood but extended mid section past the passenger cabin.

Mid-engine supercars all have a similar profile

Yes, but none of those cars posted look as similar to the NSX as the R8 does.

I like them both, and would not refuse the keys if given to me, just long enough to sell whichever one it is so I can buy a C7 'Vette, then save the rest of the money to buy a C8, and maybe turn my FR-S into a racecar.
