It is very good to see some of our customers up on the list with the kits they have purchased from us. We currently have 2 kits that we are offering partial sponsorships on. They are Black Housing C38 Kits with EcuTek. Inbox me if you are interested and I will take care of the rest!

I've already messaged my tuner but in the meantime... any ideas???

What's your mod list look like and what fuel are you on?

Mine has been sitting for about a month thanks to snow and I fired it up yesterday without a problem.

Well, I installed my kit almost 2 months ago and it has been a story of love and hate. Let me first say that my BRZ is one of only two in Panama city, Panama (50k for a new BRZ, I imported mine from the US and save a ton of money). There are a couple more GT86 and one or two FRS but support is very limited.

The installation went smooth as there were no missing parts and everything fitted pretty good. The only issue we had with the kit was that it did not come with a tune even though I bought the kit with the tune. The shop who did the installation waited a couple of days for KW to send the tune. Then the camshaft sensor had issues and we have to changed it which meant I had to wait almost 3 weeks for the part to arrive from the US.

After all this we finally dynoed the car and the car pushed 235whp which is really low on a dynojet but the worst part is that the car has 4 degrees of knocking which make the tune extremely unreliable. We try to use fresh gas (95 RON) and a can of torco but we still had some knocking.

So long story short I haven't been able to drive my car since november and I need @KraftWerks help to see if they can unlock the tune so my tuner can make corrections. I believe he sent KW the logs.

The only other mods I have on the car are Ptuning 3 inch exhaust and Radium dual catch cans.

The car sounds amazing and the only time I drove the car I could feel the extra power but I still have a way to go before I can enjoy car.

if your tuner is that bad, consider an etune.

I agree on the E tune. Maybe Moto-East can get that dialed in for you

I went through @moto-mike and he has been nothing but helpful since I contacted him, adjusting the Tune for my header, and then the weather for me.

However, I only have a header so far, still deciding what upgrades I want to do for the C38 kit i'm thinking about. E85

So far I've got:

Clutch
Fuel Injectors
Fuel Pump
Tune
C38 Kit
Labor so I can complain if I have any problems

I'm trying to keep the car relatively quiet so i'm hoping not to need an exhaust, but I don't want to choke the power either.

Anything i'm missing?

2.5 inch exhaust system. It should flow enough for you, and keep the noise down.

Also, maybe try HRI Tuning. James is extremely helpful and doesn't sell locked tunes. Not sure on his current stance on E tunes though. He was doing them for a while but was thinking about stopping.

@Freeman @Dream20b thanks for the response. So far the car has the tune that comes with the c30 kit from Kraftwerks that why I'm asking them to unlock the tune so my tuner can make adjustments.

If that is not posible I guess I will use DT or moto mike etune service.

Is a pain not been able to drive my car for almost two months and the weather here is nicer than ever 85F to 90F sunny days.

No problem. I understand the frustration I've got 6 inches of snow on the ground and about 4 months To go until it's safe to drive the FRS around. They'll get you squared away, when they get into the office.

With that in mind it's time to go to work.
