For romraider usage see www.romraider.com

make sure you use the definitions that come with the V2 tunes for editing V2 oft tunes do not use the V1x definitions.

for logging ect

I just pulled the trigger on a OFH so i will be moving to stage 2 in a few days...
Once we get our hands on a local car with a Grimmspeed intake and OFH, we will certainly create a Stage 2 map. We would have done it on our shop car already but it is now equipped a with a turbo

Take your best whack at it, then send to Shiv or Steve for feedback/proofing?

It's really not difficult, but better safe than sorry if you're unsure.

I was expecting this answer.
I understand tuning, I just have never played with romraider. I guess i will learn when i buy the intake, if there hasn't been stage 2 published for it by spring....

I emailed Shiv about this very topic and he stated that the differences between the St1 and grimmspeed St1 maps were minor differences in MAF scaling as well as some primary fueling changes. The changes look minimal on both tables. Not sure that simply copying the MAF scale from the grimmspeed map over to the St2 maps will work perfectly as the St2 and St1 maps are already fairly different in regards to the MAF scale.

Agree +1

but should be better than doing nothing at all, it will lean out top end as grimspeed maf scale top end is different to the current maf scale , hence the statement to check for afr and knock. If you get knock highr rpm blend in the top Third of the maf scale.

if shiv does a dyntune that going to be much better

That is correct. MAF scaling for the Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps are different. So copying over the MAF scaling for Grimmspeed Stage 1 to an OTS Stage 2 will probably not get you want you want

Shiv let me know if you have our intake, otherwise shoot me an email (Chase@GrimmSpeed.com) and I'll send one right over. You know we love using OFT, and we really appreciate what you're doing and all the help you're giving the FT86 community.

With Shiv's stg 1 GrimmSpeed tune and a JDL UEL tune I picked up I have created FRANKENTUNE. So far no villagers have been harmed.

If you don't mind elaborating, I'm curious -- now that the OL fueling table isn't all whacked out, what prevents a MAF scaling from being transferable between the two?

just watch your high rpm afr and knock as the stage two tunes have higher scale above about 3v compared to the stage 1 tunes
