Won't hurt the car... the ecu will compensate, pull timing, and it'll run like poo instead

still not the best remedy for lack of petrol funds, ha

Manual recommends 93 not 91, 91 is just 'acceptable' and the ECU will just drop the IAM. The tune was meant for 93.

I doubt the power decrease from 93 to 91 could be felt or utilised for a disproportionate majority, with only racers (who aren't running corn) and serious petrol heads feeling and being affected by it. Would like to see some hard-pack tests or pointed to interesting studies about this gap.

Gas mileage, however...

i wasnt driving rougher, if anything i drove as careful as possible during my first fill in for shell.

im now thinking of trying out sunoco (shell, wawa, and sunoco are pretty abundant in my area of delaware/pa) should i do anything before fillin her up? is there such a thing as flushing out the car completely of the fluids and starting up fresh?? id like to switch my engine oils and trasmission fluids to motul eventually so i thought id ask ahead of time!

also, if anyones a local... wawa vs sunoco vs shell, which do you use??
I use Wawa (92 oct) and BP (93 oct) I have done plenty of fill ups and used the same driving style and roads and have seen a increase in mpg when using wawa's vs using the BP.

That's not true Wawa does add additives to their fuel, I am pretty sure almost all companies add additives at this point.

They say they do but according to my fuel manager they don't.
