Don't get me wrong, the RC-F is a nice car, but to me it'll always play second fiddle to Europe. And I just can't deal with that grille.

At this point, why would anyone think it isn't going to be made? It's at every car show. It's constantly in the news. They're making a big deal out of it for a reason.

No problem I'll enjoy my FR-S until then and when time to trade in I'll have my FR-S paid off so that much more to put towards the FT-1 (or whatever they call it) |

I realize that. However zero official press from Toyota themselves. That tells me they're actually NOT 100% on it nor it being the final design even if so.

Looking at what a mint FRS goes for uses after only a year however is pretty scary. Shows market doesent consider the FRS as a high valie car so for trading in, ones not going to likely even get 10 grand in two years let alone what it'll be worth in 5 years who knows. FT-1 many want it me included, many will not pay the 70K+ price tag though I'm betting.

Congrats, let us know how it is!
This is probably one of the only cars I'd consider trading up for, I absolutely love how it looks and how refined the interior is. I'm really curious how the handling and drivability lives up to the FRS. |

I believe this was a US study result but basically 2 cars outsold over 30 cars because no one is interested in this market anymore besides a select few. Values are dying hard. Why do you think every automaker is now offering 4-6 CUVs?

Yep, and it will be great around town as a daily driver too. Plus you will get valet parking out front of all the nice restaurants and clubs with the other exotics like the C7. That car will garner respect from all and the ladies will be throwing their panties at you!!!!!!

I'm guessing you'll dominate at PIR track days with it's high speed sweepers and tight corner exits to the straights exercising the TVD.
In it's brief racing history, it's already establishing itself as a contender in Super GT and FIA GT3 series. See p. 6: http://www.lexus.com/documents/broch...MagSetting.pdf Last edited by torqdork; 11-21-2014 at 06:07 PM. |
