I'm excited to see how this impacts the competition, it can only benefit car enthusiasts to see these hp numbers continue to grow so high

I'm guessing over 520 is their horsepower goal. 100 hp/l NA is still symbolic in the industry. Definitely need to see one in person. I think price wise it'll undercut the Z/28 easily.

All told that's approximately 300k worth of cars....for myself. I should probably have a full size pickup or SUV too, for hauling and nasty conditions. I'd probably put that in hedge fund territory.
NY not Manhattan right? If you said Manhattan I'd agree with you because where in the world would you be parking so many cars but a single Ferrari 458 costs more than all of those combined, and I'd say they're not unattainable cars. Having all of them would certainly be an impressive stable though, as nice as the ones I've seen in Los Altos Hills (where all the Silicon Valley tycoons live).

Hahaha 1/4 acre, in the Bay we don't have plots that big. 700k sounds like a bargain.

Yea I guess, I'm just saying, 300k is a lot of money but it's doable for a fair number of people. 500k to 1 million on a car is for the seriously rich or stupid (or both).

I think I have a new unicorn!

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDCNfwrMW_U[/ame]

This doesn't sound like your typical American V8 either. Sounds different. More of a higher revving smoother design. Flatplane. This is a big push forward for Ford! I do say, if I EVER were to buy an American muscle car, it'd be this. A+ to this new Mustang. Their new 5.2L looks like a haven to add twin turbos to And finally, independent rear suspension!

Supposedly, Ford's "Voodoo" engine is in this car.

I think $60k sounds about right for a base one and probably add $1k-2k for tech or track packages. If it undercuts the Z/28 by that much, this will be huge. That 5.2L FPC looks nuckin futs.

There rumors on Mustang6G that Ford may release a GT350R that comes with Carbon discs...definitely not just a $1-2K upgrade lol
