Now your rant here will end up there and some will go "ya ALL those FRS guys are jerks after all"
Both the cars are very good for what they are built to do and that is really the only consideration.
Man if I was in a room with Hitler, Stalin, and a Hyundai Genesis, and you gave me a gun with 3 bullets, I'd shoot the Hyundai 3 times.

I wasn't defending the car, thus the "almost" but the drivers.
To say they are all jerks is like saying all Twins owners are like Ubersuber (the long term guys on here know what I mean).
They are two different cars for two different drivers.

Took a glance at the thread and saw Tail of the Dragon came up. Let's talk about that!

So if you gave an FRS the same whp as an Evo, would a Gen Coupe still be fun on The Dragon? I think yes.

Got to drive it back a couple of months ago!
In a base Corolla rental.
Was still a blast but I was sooooo sad I didn't have my car there.
Pretty sure the rental guys wondered where all the tire tread went though.

What time of day did you drive it? I've yet to get there, but would want to go with traffic first to learn the road. I'm far from a pro, and would likely be a borderline danger to the more serious drivers at dawn and dusk.

Was 9 in the morning, rainy and overall a shitty day.
There was still a huge number of cars and bikes doing "runs".
You want to take it at a reasonable pace cuz if you go too slow you are going to get hit from behind.
I would not want to have to travel the thing in my day to day driving as I am sure during nicer weather it can be crazy!

Pretty sure this is the third time you've "left". There isn't a single damn thing about you that is gracious. Move on.

Yeah, and there's not a lot shared between that and the coupe
