base boxster is 5.5 seconds to 60, with 265 HP, and it can come optioned with a real dual-clutch transmission. That combination right there will destroy an FRS, probably any modded/tuned FRS that stays NA.

I would get rid of a 335 too... they are too porky now. A new 2 series though...

For some reason, the Boxster seem slow but I know its faster than the FRS. But she has been total already so that's why FRS its in the family. The FRS might be just a thing in the past soon. Just test drive the Lexus RC350 and the Cayman S, its has put a smile on my face again.

@ sdemo, my friend is extremely wealthy and strongly considered adding an FRS to his garage. By wealthy I mean that he recently took delivery of a McLaren P1. Unfortunately, yet understandably, he didn't let me drive it.

Disagree, my father was cross shopping a GT Mustang, Aston Martin Vantage and an Audi RS7.

Yeah...

There's plenty of rich guys with an FRS. Oddly enough, never see a BRZ one.

A base boxster(MT) is Zero to 60 mph: 5.6 sec and ¼-mile: 14.0 sec so pretty similiar to a bolt on tuned FT86. stock not so much though :p

I am calling bullshit on both the OP and his "friend" Brendiggy.
Go check out the OPs other posts and see what you think.
And Brendiggy seems to write with the exact same idiosyncrasies as the OP.
Could be way off base of course but no two "facts" as stated line up.

Indeed he did.
Sorry for being unclear, the gentleman I was referring to is not on this forum. I was just saying that driving enthusiasts (like my pal) are less interested in the badge than the driving experience.

Thanks for that!
It sounded way more like you were talking about the OP. Sorry.
I take you off my bullshit list!
He however remains as don't believe a word he said.

Thank you, good sir. I agree that OP's claim comes off as BS. Skepticism is generally a good trait.
