Yes please do it right.....window switch would not of prevented this...put your car in neutral, arm the nitrous, smash the gas and let it spray, this will mimic the act of my clutch letting go during the run..your revs will build so fast you would not know what happen, so having the juice kick off at 6800rpm still would not of prevented the float that was created!! My motor is back in action, with act clutch... Im not done but with the posters rambling I just wont bother to release my dyno sheet/results/proper jetting for you will all find out the jets you get are far from correct. Carry on.....

Is this thread dead? None of the OP's pictures show up so I have less insight on what the current status is...

I will be installing this kit soon. It might not revive the thread but wanted to make some valid points. First, in the install manual says not to run over the 50 shot on Stock tune. The master Subaru tech that works on my car contacted a nitrous express engineer to confirm all the information. Your pump will max out over a 50 shot and needs to be upgraded to at least 255 lph . the rpm window switch must be set 200rpms under the Rev limiter. Make sure you have a bottle warmer to maintain the pressure stable. Also over 50 shot you need a tune as the ignition timing needs to be retarded. The clutch limitations or having stock internals had nothing to do with this failure. Also the spark plugs need to be changed to 1 step colder for 75 shot and over. So as you can see this was not N2O's fault. As they say in the fast and the furious: amateurs don't use nitrous. ... And please take some time to actually read the instructions, plus consult professionals and not "garage tuners".

Well according to a nitrous express engineer plugs are cold enough for up to a 50 shot but they recommend one step colder for 75-100.

I am still interested in nitrous, however I have yet find a local source. This forum will just recite F&F quotes for days before you get any info. You had the right idea about talking to NX.

Guys, This is probably dead by now but wanted to add the latest updates. Kit is running. Some details still need to be sorted out as the RPM window switch as the tech couldn't find the tach signal but looks like it'll be resolved soon. For now using the TPS wot switch.

According to TrueStreet Performance, the shop where I fill the bottle, a 50 shot should be good for up to 22 passes at the drag-strip. Not that I'm interested in drag racing at all but based on that calculation now that is at wot only means it will last close to a month under normal driving conditions. I'll let you all know. Once the rpm window switch is on it will change as it will be based on rpm and not throttle position. I tested it a little bit but nothing crazy because the weather is too cold and I don't want to embarrass myself LOL doing something stupid and losing traction and control of the car. the 50 shot though is not mind blowing I'm sure a lot would like that in their cars it gives the car that lacking torque. The car should be a little over 200 wtq or maybe even more as the dyno pull was 165 wtq and 204 whp. Nitrous makes more torque than power so in theory 50 whp would be 60-65 wtq which would put the car in about 220 torque. I'm eager to get some numbers as soon as the weather gets a little warmer.
