According to the World Health Organization, Ebola in water only lives a matter of minutes because without its' host it tries to equalize its osmotic pressure and bursts, which kills the virus
Not if there was a high concentration of Ebola dissolved in the water.

Nor is the vaccination 100% effective. It's a numbers game and the CDC has to take a stab at what strain will be the most likely one to spread each year. They don't always nail it.

I think that was most likely flu that led to pneumonia. Otherwise, the muscle pain wouldn't have been present.

I think I might have had flu many times in my life. This year my family will go for flu shots.
You guys get points for being 50 and driving this car. I feel like i'd have to have a helper to get me in and out of the car at that age.

Dude, the average life expectancy in this country is 79 for males, I think. Average takes into account many variables that most likely skew things lower than one can expect if they dont smoke, drink heavily, participate in dangerous activities, etc. My father is 86 years old and had a quad bypass when he was 60. Granted he is type 2 diabetic as is my 74 yr old mother, likely due to their weight. Neither of them ever worked out in their lives though my dad was very active in various sports when younger. I was running 5+ miles almost daily until my back started hurting from impact. Bought a commercial elliptical from a gym which I use on and off now.

So I might be 50, but physically I am probably somewhere in my 30's compared to a previous generation or two. I hope you aren't in need of a nursing home when you are 50.

Hey I didn't mean any offense, just saying really that my knees hurt already at 28 due to weight lifting..so i'd imagine being twice that age would be twice as hard. What do I know though, I'm just a young whippersnapper

We don't all need to be powerlifters...get some knee wraps and strip a few plates off the bar, more reps!

This. I'll be 50 next month, and I've had the flu once that I know of. You'll know it when you have it -- it's unlike any common cold you've ever had. Lots of joint and muscle pain.

You know, I think I lied earlier. I remember having it once in my late 20s. Only time I had an actual badass fever and yeah, everything just hurt like hell.

Or we just shut off your power for a few days and after everybody on the eastern seaboard and northern States shoots each other we just ride in on our moose(s?) and mop up the survivors with hockey sticks and snowballs!
