Do you know the details of the incident? I'd like to know the actual cause.

@ddeflyer, I didn't talk to the owner of the vehicle but I heard this from someone who was on the track and witnessed the fire. He said that the track was red flagged due to a brushfire (possibly a Miata went off triggering this). The BRZ ended up stopping fairly close to the brushfire; the BRZ owner then got out and checked under the hood. He then returned to the car where at some point, while still stopped on the track, the car ignited from under the hood.

Again, take this with a grain of salt since it's second hand.
