Seems like it was an arbitrary value for stg1, then they refined it for stg2 and forgot to go back and update stg1. What does it feel like hitting it on stg1?

-14.88 on stg2 looks like this:

good pick-up mate

I dont run into limiter much but dont remember it being savage will try it tomorrow just checked my G rom and it -14. unless their is something different man/auto that we dont see in defined tables. might be why it was not in auto rom standard.

I just tried -0.12 on the same map as I had -14.88. The difference in the graphs is subtle but what you feel is night and day. -0.12 is really smooth, just stops pulling. -14.88 makes you feel the power fall away sharply.

-14.88 on stg2 -25 deg in 0.2 sec:

Hi @Wayno just tried out limiter with -14 in the 7600rpm row and seems fine on manual rom, soft limit just stops revving at 7600 no jerk no face in dash tried 2nd and 3rd all seems ok. ? maybe some interaction/difference with auto ??.

Did you rescale axis on base timing B to 7600 7450 rpm for last two rows ?

There shouldn't be a soft rev limit (last rpm row with low/negative advance in Ignition Advance B table) in 6AT ROMs. If there is, it's a mistake on my part. If this is the case, which exact tune file has this error?

No, I'm not saying there's any error. All the D/I OTS roms just hit the harsh fuel cut at 7600rpm and throw you forward in the seat. I'm just talking about C/G roms having different timing retard between stg1 and stg2.

The Stg 1 and 2 maps were calibrated at different times and I was testing different soft rev limit settings. One will be softer than the other. Just pick which one you prefer and edit the last row in the Timing B table accordingly.

Ps I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi but you have a typo in your sig. Should be "you" instead of "your".

With the new update, has anything changed as far as stages? I just have a drop in filter and a Tomei UEL Header. Should I still use Stage 2 UEL? I use 93 octane if that matters at all.
