download the v2 tunes from the openflash downloads site unzip, there will be bin files these are the tune files find the one you need for usa it wil be C for manual D for auto then select appropiate tune file stage 1/2 el headers ect

their is also a xml file directory thisis the romraider definition files when you open romraider go to definition files and point romraider to the correct definition file for your tune which will be the rom or calid for your original tune something like za1ja01c or similar, then open the appropiate tune file you downloaded.

ignore the checksum error message when you save rom it will be corrected and oft corrects the checksum anyway.

When it says calculate new checksum when saving do I click yes or no?

yes you can correct the checksum. the oft will correct it anyway.

if you editing an OFT rom make certian your using the definitions from the OFT site else ecu = brick. Always check a couple of tables like base timing B an OL fuel tables to make sure everything look ok. just to be sure you have correct efinitions an definitions for v2tunes are different to the older v1.5 tunes must use orrect ones for your tune

It's available for the bo1c. I just updated my maps about a month ago and it was added on.

Then I had to come back to this page and find out how to lower the limiter lol
I think it was at 6500 and I dropped it to 4

I am using the v2.06 Stg2_EL_E85_A01C.bin map.

When I am using launch control, the engine will rev to two different RPM values based on the transmission in neutral vs. in gear (tested with 1st gear).

EDIT: all testing values below are at rest, i.e. 0 mph.

For example, I have tested it with (3) separate LC RPM Delta values.
(Launch Control Disable Speed is set to the default value (6), and Flat-Foot Shift RPM Delta is set to the default value (0) for all tests.

Launch Control RPM Delta value set at 3600 (7600-3600=4000 RPM)
- clutch off, neutral: RPM=3600
- clutch on, neutral: RPM=3600
- clutch on, 1st gear: RPM=4000

Launch Control RPM Delta value changed from 3600 to 3100 (7600-3100=4500 RPM)
- clutch off, neutral: RPM=4100
- clutch on, neutral: RPM=4100
- clutch on, 1st gear: RPM=4500

Launch Control RPM Delta value changed from 3100 to 2600 (7600-2600=5000 RPM)
- clutch off, neutral: RPM=4600
- clutch on, neutral: RPM=4600
- clutch on, 1st gear: RPM=5000

It seems that no matter the setpoint, with the transmission in neutral the RPM value = LC delta - 400 RPM. Has anyone else noticed this, and/or is it an expected behavior? It doesn't do any harm, I'm mostly just curious why it happens more than anything.

Has anyone else experienced the 400 rpm delta? Just curious if there's an explanation for why it happens.

When you upload your edited tune to the oft (I changed the rpm on the launch control) is it supposed to say "The checksum of the file has been corrected" like it does with the off the shelf ones?

depends if you corrected the checksum with rom raider when you edited rom.

as per romraider tips link below always check some tables in the rom like ol fuel and base timing B to see all is ok.
