I will have to take some logs as I made a 50/50 mix of 98 and 108 octane. Wanted to give a little insurance for its first time running an event on the stage 1 tune.

That sucks. That was the best pump fuel I could get near my area, as the closest E85 is 30mins away!
By the way, what's the shelf life for E85? I was thinking of getting a large jerrycan of E85 and then put in about 5 litres after each full tank fill-up. That way I get better knock-resistant fuel for summer use, and I don't have to travel so far so often to purchase E85! |

How precise do i have to be when adding E85 to the tank? Worried about getting too much E85 in there and throwing thing out of whack. I'm not altering the tune to take advantage of the fuel, but simply to have a little more knock resistance...

your aiming for an ethanol content of aprox 10% if its 5% or 15% its not a big problem fuel trims will easily cope with that level of variation.

You can't exactly add ~6L randomly and expect it to be a good mix though ?
