The springs alone will send it up a class, just look at where the Nismo cars are classed. This is a done deal or I know 23 twins drivers at nats who are gonna lose their shit.

In case of the "if (the car isn't in a different class)" why wouldn't they just buy the springs? Better solution than losing their shit.

Because you can't use just the springs and be legal for Street(stock) class.
You need to fully convert your car. I went through this converting a PEP Miata into an R Package a few years back.

You'd have to convert the entire car, body panels, most interior features and all.

Also, you'd HAVE to have a 2015 FR-S to do so. No BRZs, no 2013 or 14 FR-S' either.

Don't worry, 0 chance of a limited run car with enhancements going into the class with the normal car. Since going from Stock to Street, they have been midnful of that. Thus, the MS-R one class above the MX-5, CR one above the S2000, NISMO Z above the regular, etc.

Yes and they moved the Nismo models all up to AS as well.

Also keep in mind moving the 370Z to BS is a tech bulletin so it's a done deal and will go in effect 1/1/2015.

The 370Z guys are already complaining, but honestly I think the car can be competitive in BS.

Still think we should be ES. I'm actually kinda pissed now - they moved the Fiesta ST (>200HP and turbo) into HS which will completely screw over all existing HS cars, but they will not move us (200HP with a torque dip the size of the Grand Canyon).

Removing the 370 though would've given me a win in El Toro, a 2nd in Mineral Wells, and a trophy at nats. Maybe I shouldn't complain...except we all knew this would be the outcome from the start and sent a million letters to that effect, and do you know how much in tires and contingency money a first and a second is? Yeah, I'm still pissed.

It's a done deal. These aren't going to change barring something on the order of hundreds of letters in opposition.

HALLELUJAH! I'm so glad someone finally came to their senses and moved the cars out of CS that were dominating and destroying the class..... the TVRs and Morgans

Yeah I'm pissed I just bought that TVR V12 to run in CS. I think Top Gear called that car almost undrivable, or maybe was the car that tried to kill you.

HS wasn't exactly lighting up the entry lists. I think the Fiesta ST will breathe some life into it, but the old CRX Si may be the best car now, if you can find one. Although in "stock" form they aren't spectacular, will be interesting.

I hear that. You can't get pissed now, they gave us the move that was needed.

You should be happy you're not in the same division as Fenter/Harvey.

You should be jumping up and down excited for this change.

It's not an ES car, it's a CS car....the 370Z is a BS car. SCCA got this one right.

Fiesta ST to HS...? This seems a bit odd to me, but I know a few guys on here have the car, maybe they can chime in. It's disapointing that the SCCA is still horrified of the 1st Gen Dodge/Plymouth Neons, and left them in rot in GS still.
