Ah OK, my last .ver was 1.59, it was a nice commodity just loading up that single file and letting the oft do its magic on its own

Isn't the .dev file the only way to update the OFT for auto build of tunes? Obviously if I'm home or have my Windows tablet with me I can use the .bin to load a specific tune but without that the .dev's the only way right?

The problem with automatic file generation is that it can only make so many changes. The changes required to update most older CAL IDs to B01C are too extreme. Only B00C and B01C ROMS can autogerate B01C based ROM files. So in those other cases, will need to upload the ROM file manually.

I noticed right after flashing that the throttle felt a little sluggish/unresponsive which I understood was normal as the ECU learned the tune.
After about a week now I still feel like there is still a bit of "dead" unresponsive area and I notice it mostly when Just starting off. Maybe its just me but I felt like stock the minute you touched the pedal you got some immediate input. No other issues otherwise.. I love the sound of the VVT kicking in, makes me giggle even after a week. |

V2.x tunes definitely have a more "sluggish" throttle response in my experience than any of the 1.3x - 1.5x tunes I've tried. Having said that, I went from a Stage 2 1.59 E85 tune to the V2 Stage 2 93 tune, so there is reduced punch in general. Even so, the throttle lag is definitely pronounced.

As stated, it's just speculation. If there is no such value as "throttle calibration" that can be transferred on the tunes/maps, then I retract my hypothesis.

Check your fuel trims LTFT and your IAM. If your IAM is less than one thenecu had retardes timing due knock this can cause sluggish response as can high fuel trims over say 5% at idle once car is up to temperature. |

There really shouldn't be any differences with regards to throttle response in any of our rent maps. Those things haven't been altered in a very very long time. It is possible that the newer B01C/D ROMs require more time to complete TPS calibration. But that is not mapping related.

for you guys experiencing that lag, how long has it been since you flashed? I've noticed that it takes a couple hundred miles for the throttle and ecu to learn 100% and be spot on. I'm on B01C so Shiv you may be right.
I'm on stg 1 91 oct. and compared to stock the throttle response is much more instant and smooth, after given enough time to fully learn. |

I just bought mine... shipped on the 15th and received today.
did it come with the new maps? I flashed my first file today, it was the first in the list - stg1 AOC. And I definitely am experiencing the same throttle response as others are talking about. Seems to be much less sensitive, or you have to push the throttle further to hit the threshold. |

Maybe it's just me... but I am having a hard time finding documentation on this thing. Nowhere did it say that the ecu will continue to adjust after the initial startup. Theres no descriptions of the stock tuning files... I guessed that UEL and EL were for different headers, but what does AOC mean? The only engine mods I have at this point is a k/n air filter and a perrin inlet tube... out of the 5 tunes that came shipped, i chose the stg1 AOC - is that correct? Thanks for your patience if you decide to answer my noob questions
