Using stereo with engine off?

How long will the stock battery last playing music with the engine off?

i believe the battery has a 90 - 100 minute reserve. But after that, the car will have trouble starting. It will also depend on how loud you're playing your music.

The stereo automatically turns off after about 30 minutes and this is annoying at the drive in movies , when connecting to the movie audio for two hours.
The battery was fine and started the car after two hours of movie audio.

You still have drive-in movies? The last one around here disappeared 30 years ago.

Ya the only issues are the moose antler shadows blocking the projector, the maple syrup running down the screen, the sound system freezing up and the fact the poutine gets all over your car!

More left in the States then you may think. Quick Google search shows 80 still in operation in California alone. Of course the internet info is ALWAYS accurate so they must be still in operation!

True, but rarely in California does anyone bring up going to a drive-in.

We got some in Texas.

If you have a nice system with a decent subwoofer, it's actually a pretty good movie experience.

Not offended in the least!
My little joke was exactly that, a joke.
Although in hindsight I can certainly see how it could be read as sarcasm that was not my intent at all!!!!!

OH and none of those things would happen where I live in Canada anyway. We are so far south that there are 27 States (or parts of States) north of us. This includes a small bit of California!
