Yeah, I was looking at a different tracking one earlier that was behind and for some reason I got the impression that it wasn't in Vancouver yet. But it already had been for a while. My bad, sorry!

Apparently my VIN is now attached to the following message: BOAT/WWL WESTERN REG. IMPORTS

The unfortunate thing is that my dealer thinks this means it is docking on a boat in Japan. The thing is... I don't think so! First of all, it seems odd that it would have been listed as being on the Dionysos Leader to now say WWL Western Reg. Imports just to be listed as going on a different boat.

I Googled WWL Vancouver Port and got: http://www.portmetrovancouver.com/en...tomobiles.aspx

WWL handles Subaru's...

I'm probably driving my poor dealer crazy. :P

Sweet, my dealer just phoned his rep and my car is indeed at port here in Canada but hasn't been checked in which is why it doesn't show vessel arrival status. He says it should be checked in within the next 2 business days and then... just wait for the official release... which is sadly still going to be probably a month and a half away. Oh well.

Detective work over. But it was fine while it lasted. :P

hey Eureka, fellow Trento pre-order'er here! which one are you, Blue or White? I think we're 2 of 5 total to the dealership, I took the last allocation in black (2 blue, 2 white, 1 black was what I was told)

Is everyone else getting the same story from the dealer of late June/early July release? That's a long time away if some of these cars are already arriving at the port now?

Why is official release so much later??

Somebody mentioned their dealer maybe allowing them go see the car at port. Seems silly and cool at the same time. :P I was kind of surprised to hear that they would even let non-employees back there.

They better damn well post pics though if able. It'd be sweet seeing long lines of cars like corn stalks in a field. :P

I was only told that they were getting blue and white! But it could be because they weren't notified at the time about the black one. My order is SWP sport tech 6MT (swp = white in case you didnt know). The delivery date sounds about right. What I think is that our BRZ's haven't arrived yet. This first patch will probably be a wave of demo cars for each dealer. ~40 for each dealer sounds about right. As far as I know, there's only one ship containing the cars that has arrived on our shores. Tbh, I can hardly see one boat being able to fulfill everyone's pre-orders. Assuming 5 at each dealer, that would be at least 200-400 cars. (Based on the fact there's only 40-80 subaru/scion dealers in Canada, which already to me sounds like a bad guess lol.) I know how you feel man, just be patient! The good thing is they'll be here for the summer. That means 2-3 month of break-in period and practicing heal-toe downshifts

FYI, For Canada, There's about 90 Subaru Dealerships, and 80+ Scion dealers . it's supposed to be 85 i believe, but i don't know if there's any of the 85 that aren't operational yet.

Further approves my point :P An average of 4 per dealer means almost 700 hundred cars. One boat won't bring them all!

Nope, put my pre-order through over the Internet while I was on vacation. Took my credit card number down, $500 charge went on, and we've been discussing back and forth ever since.

Then on the 10th of April:

Good news! Your BRZ has a vin number and is getting loaded on a boat in Japan. Only problem is they won’t release it from port until mid June when they do the release on the BRZ’s.

Here’s the details:

BRZ RWD
DV1SS
JF1ZCAC18D16002xx
7J20
SATIN WHITE/BLK.INT.
3287xx / 001
2012/03

n/a
BRZ RWD Total

I have 2 white ones coming, if for some reason the other white one shows up first, I will let you have that one.
