It's an FR-S. I put the subwoofer bass knob where your seat warmer switch is.

nice job,

location would be in the way for me,

i think mounting it in the glove box would be perfect, out of the way

I would have thought next to the trunk button would have been preferable.

It's a bass knob that controls the JL 500/1 slash sub amp. There is an option to set the bass boost on the back of the amp so no knob is really needed in the glove if that's what you want. I listen to Tom Petty to P-Diddy and everything inbetween so I like to have the option to beef up the kick drum, or take it way down in some of the newer over produced stuff. I'm constantly "mixing" in the car....prolly shouldn't but it just makes the song so much better.

Good call...that would be a great spot for someone who is on the bass throttle less than me. This way my arm is naturally on the (lack of arm rest) and can easily tweak it without having to lift my arm up or sit up....lazy right? With a 6 speed I like to always have my left hand on the wheel I guess...

I thought about putting it just above car phone charger port in front of the cup holders, but that would require me to reach my arm back in a funny position...I'm 6 1 with monkey arms.

Well we know what priorities the OP has when it comes to his car I kid but that would be in my way. I rest my arm right in that area

I use one for my 900/5 amp, but mine just sits down by the fuel tank release. I didn't want to drill into the interior of the car.
