Openflash Changing Maps

I tried searching everywhere but I couldn't find my answer. It's probably simple. I flashed my ECU to stage 1 map. I'm getting the Tomei Header installed tomorrow and going to switch to map 2 UEL. To switch maps on the OFT, is the procedure the same as when I first installed it? or do I skip some steps that are not necessary since I already have an OFT Tune. Please advice. Thanks,

Also something else that I forgot to mention. How responsive are your OFTs when navigating menus. Mine, I have to try to press the same menu button multiple times until it finally selects it. The touch feature is very un-responsive and not smooth. You guys that have the tablet, is that something normal? I'm in IT and it feels like it needs a screen calibration.

calibrate the screen using the feature option use a stylus to calibrate not your finger

just flash the requited stage 2map if its already in oft , you dont need to do all the other marry up stuff again. read OFT TIPS link below, better still read all the inks below

Thanks. I went back to the car and under Setup I found the Calibration and screen rotation option. Sometimes we IT people tend to complicate our minds and forget the simple things. A curse I guess, LOL. Thanks for the response.

You guys are fast.. .sheesh. As steve99 mentioned, calibrating your screen with a stylus is key for good touchscreen sensitivity/accuracy. If you find yourself having a hard time navigating through the touch screen, just calibrate and it will definitely solve your problem. We test each OFT before shipping for good touch accuracy. And if one is off, we calibrate it ourselves. But it's possible that some slip through the cracks and can be improved upon

Thanks for the reply. Let me say hats off to you for making such an amazing product. I was able to fix my calibration problem and now works like a charm. I'm running on map one and what a difference it's making. I can't wait to run map 2 tomorrow with my uel header. I'm going to post a review of the header in conjunction with the OFT.

Openflash Changing Maps

I'm actually waiting now as it's getting installed. The mechanic told me that the build construction is really good stuff.
