Anyone notice a drop in temps with a vented hood?

If you don't want to remove the bumper to install the innercooler you don't have to - you can get to the area fine going through the bottom - just remove the plastic liner (around 8 pop rivets and 3 bolts) then the hard plastic piece (3 bolts) you have room to install the innercooler this way - its how I installed it, without unmounting the bumper itself.

Holy shit really? Did you have to use a lift? Could I get to it with jack stands or race ramps?

I installed it in my garage with just jack stands, biggest pain in the ass was getting the hose clamps onto the barbs of the intercooler, those suckers were a bit of a challenge.

Take a look at the first post in this thread, without an intercooler I doubt you'll see much past 230. Even that might be ambitious.



Goose, your build was a unicorn. No one has been able to match those numbers with the same setup.

Well maybe so. The Rotrex kits offer a much simpler (and cheaper $/hp) intercooling solution . That could be the better path.

The OEM sensor and OEM sensor scaling on a stock OEM ROM can't read below 12, but most aftermarket tunes rescale the sensor so that it can read down to low 11s.

Since the Sprintex kits are not CARB legal now. Looks like twin screw S/C is off my list of potentials

Do you mean the sprintex kits by Innovate aren't CARB legal now? I still believe the Innovate kits are CARB legal.

I emailed Innovate, they actually responded this time, but they're not talking about it. Didn't get anything from them at all.

Pity Innovate are being butthurt about it. Sprintex dumped them you can buy from http://www.sprintexusa.com/
Maybe it's still CARB legal since its the same kit and hopefully in the split Sprintex retain the rights to the CARB tune?

You can get the 210 plus now but it only comes with intercooled and no tune. In don't think sprintex is offering a canned tune so no carb certification I would guess

Can you confirm that, the one listed on Sprintex USA is the plain 210 part number, along with that Sprintex here in perth have said full production of the 210+ isn't in progress yet.
