Consider the Hotchkis TVS1 (total vehicle system) which includes springs and sway bars. The ride feel is ever so slightly stiffer than stock, barely noticeable difference unless you are specifically looking for it. But hammer it in the corners and the car sticks to the road like nothing I've ever driven with nearly zero body roll.
We don't have much for pot holes down here in the south but some of the road surfaces are pretty lousy-- and I've found I actually like this kit better than stock over rough roads. It feels more composed and planted and doesn't beat you up.

The pro-kit feels like a more fine tune version of the stock springs. They are actually less bouncier than the factory springs. That was one of the first things my girlfriend and I noticed first hand.

I've been on sportlines for nearly a year and the harshness is pretty annoying on bad roads..but the look is so nice.
Also have the bilstein front struts sitting around, been too lazy to put them on lol. Hoping they take a little harshness away. |

Pro-kit! I had Sportlines for 5 months before I took them off. Now they're just sitting in my storage. The ride quality sucks, and I felt like my drop was uneven. The rear looked saggy. Pro-kit stance looks much more classy. Don't accept an annoying ride quality just for looks.

Verdict is in! Pro-Kit!
I took out the sportlines and installed the Pro-Kit and I'm in love with my car again. It looks and feels great, don't get me wrong i like the way the sportlines look but i need a balance of looks and feel and i achieved that with the Pro-kit. The ride of of the pro-kit is a tuned stock feel but with a drop. ill post up some pictures later. Thank you to all the posted! This is what makes this community great! Good choice, I too debated between the two and went with pro kit for the sake of a comfortable ride and the extra bit of ground clearance. I love how it looks too, it looks lowered for a functional reason.

Has anyone been on coilovers to compare? is the ride any better than sportlines or perhaps even more harsh?

I'm on Speed By Design's coilovers and they're better than Sportlines definitely. They're aimed towards daily driving/comfort. Not sure how they compare to a Pro-Kit, but I would imagine they're similar if not better. My drop is about 1.3"....right between where a Pro-Kit and Sportlines would sit.
