I have been running mine since late April and love the setup. I am about ready to write a review on it but I like to give it some time before I do so. Unfortunately, I installed the setup just in time for our 110+ degree days here in AZ so I wanted to try and get cooler temps included in my review. Not that the heat here has diminished the effectiveness of the kit in anyway but boost is always just that much more fun in cooler temps. As it is now it's stupid fast and its pretty easy for me to break my 255s free on the highway at 80mph just by rolling on the throttle haha.

6 Months? Let's lay out a time frame here...

I went through all the info on your order last nite. You placed your order on 2/28. Your order was shipped on 5/14. Longer than expected, Yes...We had a big backorder on fans from SPAL and Precision Turbo had a backorder on the compressor covers for the turbo. Because of this i offered to Ceramic coat everything FREE of charge to eliminate downtime on your end. You accepted the offer and everything was coated before shipping. I also spoke to you on the phone personally around this time and let you know we were developing a checklist, etc for the kit and to give me a call on my personal cell phone once everything arrived to make sure it was all there and the correct parts as i admitted prior to that we had some issues. I don't recall ever getting this call and definitely did not hear of any issue with the downpipe. At some point once you went through everything Ronnie was made aware that the intercooler was damaged in shipping. We immediately sent you a replacement intercooler without requesting the original back. The replacement intercooler was sent on 5/23 based on my UPS records. Unfortunately the replacement intercooler also showed up damaged. (We have shipped over 30 of these kits so far and the only damaged parts yet have been these two intercoolers to you.) I spoke to you on the phone at this point (i believe it was the first week of June by now) and told you to just run the kit with the lesser of the damaged intercoolers (believe it had a few bent fins and mounting tab) as we were waiting on our supply of cores and at that time did not have a concrete date on when we would have them. (There was NO mention of the downpipe having the wrong flange at this time either) As soon as the cores arrived your 3rd intercooler was the first one fabricated and shipped out. Based on my records the 3rd intercooler shipped on the 6/23. Sometime during while it was in transit was the FIRST time anyone was made aware of the downpipe having the incorrect flange. I spoke to you again and said to just run the downpipe you had for the time being and that i would get you a replacement one out that you could swap out at your convenience so that there would be no downtime. I'm sorry that it has taken longer than i expected to get you a downpipe with 3" flange. This past month has been hectic with a move that will ultimately benefit everyone in the long run. Anyways the downpipe with the correct 3" flange is done, boxed up and waiting to be picked up. Tracking is 9406203699300038926454 via USPS. You will have it friday. I didn't have it coated as the original coating was done as a good gesture and frankly with your exaggerated time frames, only telling one side of the story and attempts to bash us on Facebook etc, i don't believe that gesture exists anymore. I don't care if I get the old Downpipe back or the first 2 intercoolers...throw them out for all i care.

Now to clear up the difference between the downpipes we offer for those reading. We have 2 options, a slotted 2.5" 2 bolt flange and a 3" 2 bolt flange. The slotted 2.5" flange is what comes standard on the kits and will bolt up to anything from an OEM overpipe to the 3" overpipes. The 3" 2 bolt flange is a little more specific and will work with "most" 2.5" overpipes and our 3" overpipe. Both downpipes are full 3" all the way to the flange, we taper the 2.5" flange for the 3" pipe. I have made well over 400whp (more than the base turbo is capable of, so i don't believe running this one would have been a restriction) with the 2.5" flange on my personal car.

2.5" flange

2.5" vs 3"

FOR THE SAKEOF CLARITY:
I ordered in feb after being told a 2-3 week wait.
When parts did show up there was no hardware, no turbo, no bov, no wastegate.
The intercooler was mangled.
Then some hardware was shipped, a turbo along with a second intercooler that was also mangled.
later the bov and wastegate showed up drop shipped.
I had to wait weeks for a 3rd correct intercooler.
the downpipe issue wasn't realized till I was at a point where I could install the downpipe. My bad for not expecting my 3 inch pipe to have a 2.5 flange welded on it considering I ordered a full 3 inch turbo back.

Lets not also forget when I did call about the downpipe issue I was told " its supposed to be like that. they are all like that." by you employees.
There is no communication from you guys at all unless I post on instagram or call you out here.
its a joke.

as for exaggerated time lines:
I payed in full 6 months ago for something I was told would be a 3 week delivery. I still don't have all the correct parts

you put this on me, but the facts are facts.
6 months later you are still screwing me around getting the correct parts.

I have the order placed on feb 28th, the funds went in our account march 3rd. We don't begin on any order untill funds clear as fraud orders are farily common. I admit it took longer than expected, i stated this above. Some was our fault, other parts where out of our control. Hence why i offered the free coating.

I stated above also that while your stuff was in transit we developed a checklist to eliminate these problems and to call me on my personal phone to go over everything as your kit was the last one shipped prior to this. Obviously we had issues and this was my way of correcting it, we haven't had issues since. I never got that specific call. As far as the intercoolers being mangled i addressed the packaging of the intercoolers and yours has been the only incident yet. Obviously I hope to avoid those situations as UPS hasn't done a thing and it cost me quite a bit of money.

I had to wait weeks for a 3rd correct intercooler.

I told you on the phone that i had no ETA on when i would have cores for the next batch of intercoolers. All i was being told was hopefully a couple weeks. You said the second intercooler wasn't as bad and could be tweeked to run for a bit until a replacement was on the way. Once the cores showed up your intercooler was fabricated and shipped the next day, ahead of other full kits that had been waiting.

I didn't forget ..You got sent the wrong downpipe, i flat out told you that on the phone the day after you posted and apologized for you being told something different. I had not been made aware of anything until i saw your post. I told you i would get you the correct downpipe and to run the other one for the time being as it would work perfectly fine, never once did I say it was the correct one, but figured this way atleast you could get your car up and running. Has it taken longer to get you the correct one than i told you? Yes it has...completely my fault. You'll have it Tomorrow.

as for exaggerated time lines:

Yes it took longer than told, i've admitted that numerous times. 6 months ago from today would have been January 31th FYI. This was your post from the other day "They are well aware of issues. have been for almost 6 months now." I'm curious to what issues we already had 1 month before your order was placed? You've had my cell phone (480-320-9623) If there's more issues than i know about please contact me.

I stated we spoked more than a few times, however if you would have called me like i asked to go over the checklist we have created the downpipe issue would have been make aware of in Mid May. Yes Facts are facts. It's not 6 months.

Anyways i'm not going to argue anymore. You have my cell phone if there are any issues. I stand behind the parts 100%.

I called and went over the check list with someone. that's how we found out I was missing the intake parts and the drain back line.

ok so its been 5 full months. i guess that changes everything.
how dare i be upset that i paid in full and still don't have all the correct stuff.

Tried to finish up the install today...
Surprise the downpipe doesn't fit. Go figure. The flanges hit the manifold at the overpipe and get no where close to the turbo flange.

I did get an email today from JDL stating they are willing to get the car taken to a shop to have everything sorted out fitment wise.
If they do step up and fix the issues as stated in the email then my hat is off to them for standing up and fixing the issues.
It won't get my lost summer back but it will at least make me feel a little better about them and their products.

Car is back and ready to tune...
They ended up modifying the down pipe quite a bit to make it work. But now it clears and should be fine.

Sounds like they took care of everything. And you (Shit Luck) sound like a douche.. If I were a retail business, I would fire you as a customer.
