Yeah, you'd have to bake the headlights and disassemble them. It's a process.

I still retrofitting my Tacoma headlights and had to bake it at least 3 times before working the glue.

If you're going to go through the trouble of opening the headlight and projector to attempt to modify the cutoff shield on a RHD projector, it would make MUCH more sense to just remove the projector and retrofit a nicer LHD HID projector into its place instead.

Baking headlights and retrofitting is not as complex or difficult as it sounds. Plenty of write ups and tutorials out there. I would suggest this option over wasting money for Euro HID headlights.

baking headlights isnt hard even with no exp

just don't cook them lol you only want to heat up the adhesive that binds them together

I want the LED euro headlights but won't pay for them too crazy. Will wait for aftermarket to make some copies and buy those instead

Both methods work, and I've done it both ways. I typically find it to be easier to disassemble using the baking method, as the heat is more consistent. It does heat up more of the assembly than you need to, but I've never had any issues. 200F for 10-15 minutes works pretty well most of the time.

Since I live in Georgia, can I use my turkey fryer instead? We don't have ovens.

No. A heat gun isn't better, especially when baking the pieces of the headlight back together. You want the adhesive to heat up as evenly as possible and that's MUCH harder to achieve with a heat gun. I have also read many people overheating and melting parts of their headlight housing because they left the heat gun on one area of the light too long.

Hmm I've tried both and it may have been because of the ep3 headlights. They were definitely a bitch to get open with both baking and using a heat gun. but i was able to pull them apart at certain points with a heat gun. I've tried baking g35 lights and those weren't anywhere near as hard as the ep3

I've baked the lights on my wifes and my tc and one thing I learned is make sure you have the adhesive spread all around the light. I didn't the first time and it had a leak so i had to redo them. Other than that it's not hard at all. I did 225F for 15 mins just use a pair of glove also. LOL. I think i'm going to check on the price of the UK/GER lights and see what price they are and make my mind up at that point.

it was confirmed that the headlights of the frs and the brz are interchangeable

the reason why the brz lights looks different or smaller is because the front bumper covers a portion of it.
