SONOFABITCH!!! Sirius must be some branch of the Illuminati (always watching). Not two hours after my post yesterday my XM cuts out. I trapped myself, shoulda kept my damn mouth shut!

Traffic didnt work a single time for me, even when I had Sirius.

Just use Waze on your phone for traffic navigation

I, myself, personally think Waze is much better to use for traffic than the nav.

Just be safe while you're using Waze cause it can get distracting, and last thing you want to do is to rear end someone when you're not paying attention in traffic...

Waze is better than ANY OEM Nav system. Just use a mount, like Pro Clip or a windshield mount. And it caches your drive ahead of time while you have signal so you can keep going if you run out of coverage

Leaving for Lincoln, NE tomorrow for SCCA Solo Nats and I'll be Wazing the whole way!

Good luck trying to cancel the sat service, they are known for putting you on hold for a LONG time before you can cancel. The last time I did , it took 45 min.

I will never again go without my XM! Channel 51 BPM for life! Beside, the music package is only like $10/mo, if you have trouble affording that, your doing something wrong..

Actually was a large incentive for me to get the car, I mean Aux port is awesome but hell my music library is only so big, and can only fit so much on my phone 2k-3k songs. And specially when I travel long distance in Radio deadzones etc in Canada which is extremely common, having some go-to stations is absolutely amazing, and I am Definitely subscribing!

(Only Local non-country station in town that my car currently hits (not brz) is Sun FM which is like.. replay top 40 songs in NA over.. and over.... and over.... and over...)

I've been sorta using it, and it sucks. The stupid robot will come on and repeat "Traffic jam ahead!" when there is no traffic whatsoever. Other times it doesn't warn me at all, and I'll come up on a problem where everything has come to a complete standstill. THEN, once I'm completely stopped, the robot will say, "Traffic jam ahead!" Well, thanks a lot, stupid.

I'll have to check out Waze.

I bought a 64GB class 10 card for my phone on sale at Amazon for $35. I have roughly 300 CDs loaded on it, and it's only about half full. The older phones couldn't handle anything bigger than 32GB.

Of course, if you're stuck with an iPhone, you can't upgrade.

BPM is the soundtrack for this car, but it gets repetitive. I have also been enjoying the spinoff channel, Utopia, on channel 55.

Beat them up on the price.. I pay 29.99/6 months including nav traffic. That's WAY cheaper than the 199.99/6 months that they start off asking for. You have to do the same song and dance with a moronic sales rep every 6 months but its worth the price drop.

Think about it, they broadcast the signal 24/7 regardless if you pay for subscription or not. Even if they charge you only $5/year, it's $5 more than not giving you service. It's an interesting business model since the hardware is standard in most cars so there is no cost to the provider no matter what your choice is.

@Kido1986 the traffic works awesome! I live in an area where it's very useful and I'm always impressed by how accurate it is and how often it's updated. Chances are that the traffic portion of your subscription wasn't activated.
