I love my brz. The more I drive it, the more it makes me want to be a better driver.
Because the car is slow, but its not the car's fault. Its mine. While it would be easy to just slap on some forced induction and make up for my lack of skill, I'm not entirely sure I'd get the same kind of pure feeling in a boosted twin.

when I met with @CSG David (when he was in Seattle).. he and I had a chance to talk about the same exact topic, I asked his opinions on both platforms Honda obviously did a great job on S2K and it's really sad they didn't come up with another sports car for a while

I'd take a boosted s2k over a NA one, just how I'd take a boosted twin over a NA twin. |

If I were to go FI (Still throwing that idea around) It would have to be a very linear power delivery. I'd take a 250 whp NA twin over a 350 whp FI twin. Its not that I don't enjoy power, but I really want to be able to drive at 10/10 with what I have available and Not upset the balance. That is my priority right now.

![]() I think that opinion turned into what you want and desire vs. an actual 90's engineering feat that still pwns on the track and has epic reliability with minimal modifications...and yes...a little chat with Toyota engineers is eye opening as well.

resonance in the exhaust piping, and catalytic converters... UEL headers kill some of that resonance at the cost of scavenging.

It's weird though, Before I bought my car I priced out the insurance costs for all the sports cars I was looking at, including an s2k. The 86 came in at $109 a month and the s2k came in at over $300
