Here's what we got on e85 today in 4th on the c30-94. This is UNCORRECTED with 90% humidity and 80's temp. About 4-5% correction would bring it inline with STD, another 5 hp or so for being in 4th vs 5th. (5th is 1:1)

We ran out of fuel on e85 and stock fueling. At around 7k you can see it drop off where it had enough. Same stuff we've been seeing on datalogs. Can't wait to see it again when it gets the injectors/pump in the next week or two. Smooth, no?

Just an update. Finally getting out of the dead pedal zone after flashing the kraftwerks tune. I'm loving this tune. I'll post a complete write up of my findings soon.

Hey all - well, I stopped by Group A today to verify everything was in order after my oil cooler debacle. They made good on their word and made sure everything was tight and buttoned up. My belt was on a little too tight and they adjusted that and I installed the check-valve on the breather hose instead of on the PCV hose from the back of the manifold. They also corrected that. Beyond that they said the belt noise I'm hearing is normal.

I want to believe it is normal but I still don't like it.

Here is a video of the belt movement causing the sound:
[ame="http://youtu.be/7oYd8oYzHV0"]Belt Movement[/ame]

And here is a video of the sound. Notice the modulation that is caused from the belt movement:
[ame="http://youtu.be/lmDjZng6jQw"]Resulting Sound[/ame]

I thought it might be the crank pulley so I removed that to make sure the seal behind the crank pulley was flush. It is and here are the pictures.

SO - Anyone else have belt movement and sound like this with their KW setup??
Any ideas on where this is coming from? With the SC belt off I checked the pulleys and they all seem "normal". I'm at a loss...

Belt too tight... play with it, loosen it 1/2 turn at a time. I don't have that belt movement. Also check the mounting plate if the bolts are torque correctly them move on to the brackets. Then you'll end up like you installed it yourself

You need to loosen the bolt of the idler pulley to where the tensioner plate is mounted on to be able to loosen the cog belt.

KW adjusted the tension of the belt to spec. They also checked all of the bolts to make sure they were secure and said they were...hmm....

Well that was just a ton of catching up. I haven't been on much in the past 2 months so read from somewhere near page 60 and updated the first post. If I missed anyone let me know.

I finally got out to the track and put this through some proper abuse and the kit and cooler performed flawlessly. I picked up about 8 mph on the straights at my track which now put me keeping pace with an M3 and an Audi RS5. Powering out through the corners was amazing and the car just kept pulling right on up to 121mph before I would have to brake for turn 1 after the front straight or turn 10 on the back straight. I might squeeze another mph with better brakes or better corner exit but the built M3 said he can only hit 121 so I'm pretty happy. Wonderful kit! I've had it 9 months now and it hasn't had a single issue.

Well the Kraftwerks tune is throwing a P2096 code. I'm almost positive it's because my flex fuel is connected to the rear O2 port and the code just wasn't updated for that change. I'll update this as I get more information.

22mm I think is ball park. You really need to play with it. I'm pretty sure that you have to loosen it...

I had my tension set at 21mm with the nickle trick.. But I would hear a loud noise from 6500-7000rpm. Now I've brought it to 19.5mm and the noise is gone. Any ideas.....?

Stay there and leave it as is. No noise that's what you want right. And being cogged you should be fine.

Size: 138.7 KB Found this on the Kraftwerks FB page. Might be useful info for some of the folks on this thread (although it seems as though they may have overrated the HP numbers a bit for the base c30-94 kit). So when's the CARB approval coming again?

Have read from page1 of this thread and feel like I have found the end of the internet!

Thanks for sharing all of the great information. Pulled the trigger on a C30 kit last week with some other goodies from @fteightysix. Can't wait to join the club!

Alright Gary! If you want a hand installing it I can come out and give you a hand. It's really pretty simple, just make sure as soon as you get it to do a complete inventory and account for every piece.

What are you doing for a tune solution? If you haven't nailed that down yet I'm sure Bob can email you a tune that will allow you to get up to him and do the final dyno tune. I have a cable.
