2. how many people just stick with 93 and why? given the location of filling stations and the extra things to support e85 it seems i may just stick with 93 octane gas here in IL/midwest.
3. given different exhaust mods or oem how does a tuner's downloadable map handle all the possible combos?
4. what supporting exhaust mods are advised? should these be done prior to sc install?
5. i see the bolts on the manifold occasionally break, are there any harder ones advised to replace them with that have been found?
6. i plan on doing the forester oem type oil cooler kit, anyone have track temperature numbers with this setup? solo dl posted 270-277 my last time at the track (all n/a, no kit)
7. radiator upgrade must/nice to have?
8. advised intake vs. stock - does it help, which? i see delicious specifically calls out a perrin 3" CAI
9. seems the 69mm pulley on stage 2 kit is the new way to go?
10. i have 225 direzzas, will this push me to 235 245 for suresies? think i'll need to buy wider wheels (have 17x7.5 now)

thanks.

Looks like a lot of your questions were answered but just wanted to show what we offer in regards to the tune for the Innovate Kit and our recommendations from another tuning facility. If you did not have enough already.

1. We have seen no need to go with a larger pump or injectors on E85 up to our 69mm pulley. But we feel this is about the limit, but you could go smaller if the ethanol content was lower.
2. The one other option you have is FlexFuel so you could run 93 octane most of the time but if you had the option to use E85, you could just fill it up and enjoy the new found power. We are finalizing our FlexFuel Kit and should have it very soon. Otherwise or 93 octane tune works incredibly well with the 69mm pulley. Especially since it was tested on California 91 octane.
3. Our system works with just about any header and exhaust system, but we can review your logs to see if any adjustments are needed.
4. We currently run a stock exhaust system on our shop vehicle, though have seen some benefits with a nice set of headers and a custom tune, beyond the standard tune. Adjusting the cams and timing a bit can get you a little more.
8. We actually prefer the Airaid Intake of all the intakes for this vehicle. We have seen improvements on the the top end while also keeping the air relatively cool. The Perrin CAI seems to work similarly, better flow and cooler air.
9. We have tested the 69mm pulley pretty intensively for many heat ranges from LA traffic, to hot desert heat, all on 91 octane and have no problems with it. We have of course adjusted the tune for the new smaller pulley and it does make a little more on 91, so on 93 it will be even better. Our current tune will work on any pulley size you choose, 80, 75, 72.5, 70 or 69mm. So choose your poison and enjoy.

Cheers,
William Knose

Positive or negative?

Positive would be a sign there is a possible vacuum leak.

Send an email if you like.

long term pegs to the positive and short term pegs to the negative. I just took a log and sent it to you in an email.

Should I try reflashing and let the ecu reset? I am fairly certain that the car is mechanically fine but I have been wrong before..

Thanks Bill!

Most of what I've seen shows that the ESC Phantom only works WOT. It doesn't really do a partial throttle or 'heavy' throttle. So getting the same numbers WOT isn't quite the same as overall improved drivability.

We have tuned a couple of these now. They are pretty good down low but they really do not make much power on the top end. Below is a dyno chart of the ESC versus the Innovate Supercharger Kit with an Intercooler and 69mm pulley on 91 octane.

It may not be a fair match up with, being you may expect a non-intercooled 75mm setup but most customers seem to run the Stage 2 package and usually go with a smaller pulley. That is from what we have seen at least.

I am no English major that is for sure. Need to work on my grammer. Lets' try that again...

I just really liked seeing a rotrex kit and the sprintex kit dyno's from the same tuner and same dyno.

I'm running the CARB tune still. Once I'm warmed up I'm fine, but I usually drive once the cold start idle drops down. It's been stalling out when I'm stopped and in neutral. Any thoughts?

Lefthand drive cars shouldn't need it. Mine plugged in just fine without it.

I don't really have a lot of time to be reading this thread but I wanna pick up a complete stage one kit. What can u guys ell me about it?? How much power will I gain and will I be happy with it? What can u tell me about stage 2 and the diff in power? If I buy the stage one complete kit can I just bolt that up and go and not have to worry about tuning or anything else if I'm just going to use it as a weekend casual driver Who just wants more power because it's too slow in stock form

It's the stage 1 CARB tune that comes with the stage 1 complete kit. So it's technically a delicious tune but they don't offer support unless you buy a tune from them not innovative.

Gotta love that crap. The guys at OFT will review and offer support regardless if its a base or custom map. Either you installed it wrong or their is something wrong with their idle data.
