@midnight23 are you having oil temp issues? We only really have problems canyoning or tracking...

That brings up a good point...ducting plays a huge role in any sort of temps whether it be coolant or oil. Just throwing a cooler in front of where air goes isn't the same as surrounding it by ducting to really force the air into it.

Interesting. We have used them quite successfully on some big power turbo cars - do you have any pictures / details on your installs? I'm curious what was different in this instance.

Do you use restrictor/plugs in the main channel of the laminova? The cores we received and installed didn't have restrictors. ![]() Here is a DIY thread. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42511

The reason I ask is because the lower revving engines generally put out less oil heat. Now if you were using a 3SGE BEAMS and adding a turbo, you'd have some pretty major oil temp issues...

That greddy kit looks yummy. 1 or 2 rads?
I'm definitely considering the jackson racing oil cooler. But I'm debating between an exhaust or oil cooler first. So far, it looks like I'll do a max of 6 track days a year. My heel toe is slowly getting better, so as time goes on, I'm sure I'll push harder and harder. @CSG Mike Will you guys be at the AROSC for Buttonwillow on the 27th and 28th? Would love to see that CR S2000, and your BRZ shop car! |
