Will Enkei NT03+M in 18x9.5, +40 with 265/35/18 tires rub with Tein S-Tech springs?

Fun question time:
Front - 18x8.5 +26
Rear - 18x9.5 +26

What size tires will make it fit (preferably squared)? Was thinking 235/40 all around. Approx. how much camber? -2.0? -2.5? This will be on an air system.

Looking for a setup for my FR-S. I searched around but didn't find the same setup I was looking at. I was debating on getting a set of XXR-530's

front- 18x8.75- 245-35/18
rear- 18x9.75 265?,275?, 285?-35/18

What is the widest rear tire I can put on that rim without rubbing while on an Eibach Pro kit 1" drop? Or is that rim too wide for the car?

just an fyi, unless you plan on adding FI or something to your car, a staggered setup like that would change characteristics of handling quite a bit - understeer is the normal result. Also, 1st and 2nd will be a bit more "luggish."

Also, what's the offset on those wheels? Front seems fine (would prefer a 40 profile tire), but rear I'm not sure on the widest you can go. Sorry

Fronts are a good size. I would stick with the 245/35R18 tire as it the perfect OEM diameter, 40 series is too tall.
You would need very close to a +35 offset for ideal fitment.
(My Sig below shows a 18x9 +35 with 245/35R18 setup on Eibach ProKit)

I also recommend staying with the same size for rears, but you could accommodate a 9.5 to 10" wheel on the back with the correct offset (+40 iirc). If you stay with a square setup, then you'll be easily able to rotate your tires for max tire life.

Check out the "aggressive wheels" thread if you intend to go with wider rears.

Good luck.

Will My BBS LM's Fit

Hey Every one, I have a set off BBS Lm's Which i am currently in the process of Refurbishing.

The Sizes are as follows

Fronts 18x7.5 ET30

Rears 18x8.5 ET34

The Only Disadvantage is that the are 5x114.3 So i will be fitting Hub adaptors which will be 15mm so taking the offset down to ET15 on the front and ET19 on the rear.

I will be fitting coil overs but not running the suspension stupidly low.

Also what size tyres should i run on this setup?

Please tell me these will fit as the car will look awesome on them! Wink

Yes I will be going FI in the next little bit.

I like that setup in your pic

I also really love the staggered look. After I go FI the larger rears would be a tad more practical, but I just like the look.

Hi guys,

I would like to ask you to explain few things for me and help me with final decision. I would like to buy Volk Racing TE37 or TE37SL, but i found that people are using different offsets (17x8.0 +36, 17x8.0 +38, 17x8.0 +44). I have stock suspension.

So the question is which offset is best and if/how offset could change car handling?

Thank you

Read the first 20 pages and the last 10 and didn't see any info on this.

18x9.5 et35 squared.

What tire sizes should I run? Also would like to squared tires also for rotation purposes.

I do want a slight stretch for looks since it'll be a show car. On the fitment calculator it's showing that I'll be perfect with 235/40 front and rear. My buddy recommended 225/40 but the calculator is showing too much stretch for my taste.

Car is currently dropped on eibach sportline.

Thanks in advance.

Okay so this will be an odd question based on how many people love their coilovers. I have a set of 18x9.5, +45 Enkei Kojins that I would love to run on my car. Keep in mind that my car is not to race and disappointingly... I can't really swing coilovers financially and I refuse to go cheap with them. So it's the stock suspension life for me, and I'm okay with poke, but I need to figure out tires that will work so they can be rotated. I will be getting spacers too, most likely 10mm or whatever is recommended to keep me from rubbing too much.

I could use some help figuring this out if anyone's got a little time.. Thanks!
