As @steve99 said, it's very common due to the nature of the engine. Just don't labour the engine at low RPM. Drop a cog or two if you want to floor it.

A little feedback on a datalog please guys 2.0 B01C map, '14 FRS, 91 Octane Stage 1 on California 91 crapgas. I have about 20 miles on this tune so far..guessing it'll sort itself more with increased mileage.

I was doing a hard canyon run right before this log, about 90 degrees outside and saw my IAM drop to .86 but it came back up once I settled down.

Looks pretty good for 91 assume your on the 91 tune :-)

The max knock in that log is -0.7, the LTFT good max around 3%, the positive FLKC is the ECU returning the timing it pulled earlier.

If you were rearly picky you could pull about 0.5 degrees out of the base timing above 6000 at engine load over 1.0. But its hot day and your on it and knock is pretty minimal in that log.

Somewhere outside this log is where you got some knock events that triggered the IAM drop, these are the ones you need to catch. Suspect it may have been low rpm high load high gear . Rearly need to see there the IAM drops.

Thank you @steve99 I think I'm gonna give it 50 more miles and take another log and see how my IAM does. If my IAM dropped on these maps I can't imagine how bad the stock tune was. This tune feels so much smoother and responsive. Love it

Thought you may be the best to ask, what's the latest you managed to get a hold of for the I series? Still the A01I?

Does anyone else have this problem? I have a 900C (US 6MT) Cal ID.

using OpenFlashManager v1.10. and unmodified, freshly downloaded OTS ROMs.

No problem selecting and loading v2.03b ROMs for Stg 2 EL E85 to the tablet.

But whenever I try to select v2.03b Stg 1 91 oct 900C it won't let me, says "file is not compliant". In fact I tried all the Stage 1 91 oct ROMs none of them will let me load.

If I select Stage 1 93 oct 900C then it loads fine. I want to load the Stg 1 91 oct 900C but that is the one that won't work.

Perhaps something is wrong with the ROM file for the 900C 91 oct?

@Shiv@Openflash
I would say its a small oversight and the D00C in the rom has not been changed to 900C so the OFT will see it as compliant with your 900C stock file, shiv will fix it in a " flash"

You can fix it by making you own 91 tune . Open the 93 tune in RR then compare with the 91 tune copy the table changes, think their is only one changed the ignition advance tabe, copy the 91 table to the 93 tune then save as 91 tune and your done

Yeah, unfortunately - but I'm sure there's a D00I floating about as well. I've only got D00C, D00G and the A02A thus far.

Stock tune on 91 has horrible knock, at least on A01C calibration.

Side note: Has anyone noticed the MPG's going way down? Like 3-5MPG less than the older OTS tunes?

So driving home today from work I noticed that my LTFT's are nearly perfect, ranging from -1.6 to 1.6 while mostly staying exactly at 0 as displayed from Torque. The car also felt a million times better than it did 2-3 days ago. This got me wondering why this is the case and the only thing I can come up with is temperature variation/humidity.

I've had a feeling that both of these variables play a pretty big role in trims so I got looking at weather history. Today its 67 degrees outside and rainy, two days ago it was 86 and three days ago it was in the 90's. Its got me thinking that the MAF Compensation (IAT) table might need a look at. Surely I can't be the only one experiencing this. Is this something that maybe be causing some of the weird trim issues some are having @Shiv@Openflash?

Intake Inlet Duct

For those running a stock intake with a modified Inlet Duct, is this opening big enough?

Inlet Hose

For those running a stock intake with the latest tune, did you replace the Inlet hose, (Perrin, Mishimoto, Etc) ?
