How about subwoofers and loud speakers playing Ferrari exhaust sounds??? You'll turn heads for sure, it's like two birds with one stone!!
I amazed myself sometimes....

Interesting thread

I had a sealed 15" in my last car and never turned heads, you gotta have crazy bass to do that. I also deadened my last car like a tank.

I have all my car audio laying in my closet since I'm waiting for the Pioneer 7000NEX to drop in price. 10" in my trunk literally doing nothing right now

I'd do a berk muffler delete if you want people to hear you.

People who are impressed by a loud stereo are not the same as people who are impressed by engine sound. But think of the negative side of it. Which is more likely to piss people off? I suspect it's the stereo.

Personally, if you go around trying to "turn heads" with your stereo, I hope every cop in town gives you noise tickets. Music is for you inside the car, not for everyone else who doesn't want to hear your sound pollution.

In reality its reversed. You would probably hear more people saying wow it sounds a like a race car but its moving like a slug and nothing like one.... thats just being nice too. It would be more along the lines of... how annoying look at that ricer

Its not like people hear anything other than the bass if you do have a hard hitting system. A loud raspy exhaust is the most annoying thing ever. One that sounds nice but also mature is a lot different than driving around with a fart can and a ton of drone.

Unless you have your sound system tuned incredibly poorly, or want to go deaf, people won't hear your sub(s).
In an old Sunfire of mine I had put two 10" subs. With the amp and head unit tuned properly you wouldn't even hear the music outside with the car on and windows up. Get inside the car though and you would have probably wanted the volume a little lower.

If you REALLY want to turn heads sell your car and buy a muscle car.
Trust me.

I love my music just as much as the next guy, in fact i'm blasting it through my headset as I type this. But i just finished installing exhaust mods onto my car (refer to sig for reference) and I OFTEN find myself lowering the volume, sometimes even muting it, to hear the note as I go through gears... Truth.

Get an exhaust. Lower the weight and get better sound with an exhaust instead of extra weight, with loose bolts and buzzing rattling.

Pick up some LED washer nozzles... Much cheaper then both options and will turn heads for sure.

The only reason loud subwoofers turn MY head is so that I can see who the jackass is.

I'd get the exhaust before a subwoofer. If you want more attention it will get you that, and it's a better compliment to a sports car that a subwoofer.

Do you have any sound clips of the Speed Factory V1 ?
