Exhaust or Subwoofers?
 

What do you guys think will turn more heads exhaust or subwoofers? The car already turns heads but I can't decide what I want first. If I do get an exhaust the FT Speed Factory V1 is my choice. Decisions decisions.

Depends on what the phrase "music to my ears" means to you. For me personally, the sound of the car beats listening to a song. When I had my TRD exhaust, I found myself hardly ever listening to music because the sound of the engine and the exhaust was enough. Now that I'm on stock exhaust and I can't hear it, I listen to music because I don't really have any choice. Once I'm back to a louder Nameless exhaust (tomorrow) I'll go back to listening to my car instead of music again.

Sounds like you are wanting mods for the sole purpose of impressing others, rather than doing it for yourself. So are you gonna have them pay for the mods?

Get a hot girlfriend, that'll turn heads.

Even with my old subwoofer I found myself driving around just listening to the car. Now with my OEM Audio system I find myself constantly listening to music.

Just depends on the mood I'm in now. Upgrade both that way you won't have to choose. ;)

i usually prefer the sound of the exhuast unless im on a long trip, most of the time my radio is turned off.

What kind of head-turning are you going for?

Do you want people to turn their heads saying, "Wow, that sounds like a race car!"?

Or do you want people to turn their heads saying, "Wow, what a fucking douchebag. Does he actually think that stupid booming sounds good? Why does that idiot think everybody else wants to endure his shitty music? I wish it were legal to shoot at booming cars!"?

People who are impressed by a loud stereo are not the same as people who are impressed by engine sound. But think of the negative side of it. Which is more likely to piss people off? I suspect it's the stereo.

Personally, if you go around trying to "turn heads" with your stereo, I hope every cop in town gives you noise tickets. Music is for you inside the car, not for everyone else who doesn't want to hear your sound pollution.

Do what the donks in FL I saw do. Put Speakers in the grill and blare really shitty music while cruising around in circles trying to act cool.... That will turn heads.

You will pick Subwoofers.

Exhaust is more of a performance mod.

You chose an Automatic, so this leads me to think that you would like the Subwoofers more.

You also fully capitalize LIMITED in your sig...

Just get the subwoofers.

I only listen to my music loud on the highway. I don't go WOT through neighborhoods and shopping centers to impress people. Just like all the idiots on harleys with SUPER loud exhausts, you are not anywhere close to as cool as you think you are to 99.9% of the population. The .1% of people you will impress are going to be high school boys and flatbillers who are barely out of high school. Even most car guys I know aren't impressed at all by the subaru rumble, nevermind the ugly honda fart can sounds our car makes with EL/stock headers.
