Anyone know how strict they are now with having passengers? The website says you can only have a passenger for 2 sessions in the day... Never used to be like that!

It's outdated. There is no restriction and no wristband is needed either.

I went through there at 12:15 and it was stop and go. I can only imagine how terrible it must be now!

Can those of you who are heading out later provide progress updates on traffic? Hopefully it clears up by 8 or so...

I came back from T-Hill last Friday night and at 11PM or something it looked like it was all backed up. I think you can pretty much expect to loose some time through 680->Fairfield. Unfortunately there are alot of commuters going that direction to get home.

No, probably won't see that kind of traffic to T-Hill until the lemons race in September (apparently they are doing 300 cars or some such).

In all seriousness though, the lady at Motel 6 said that this is a surprisingly busy weekend.

aaaand... that's why I'm driving up at 4AM instead. Should be smooth sailing at that time.

jk i'm a cheap ass. don't want to spring for a hotel if I can avoid it.

i did spring for reserved parking. if anyone is arriving super early and blocking off spaces for us, please save me a spot too! And I will try to do the same if I'm there early. maybe we can get a show of hands how many will be in the reserved first covered awning area?

I will be in the first covered parking. That said I am terrible at being a morning person so I doubt I will get there early.

Edit: 680 North is free and fast, looks good beyond Pleasant Hill.

Nonetheless, Thill and Willows will be screaming race fuel and e85'ers!! Burn rubber, brake pads, new rotors and whatever else gets you excited! Drive within your limits, wait for the Point-Bys, and make sure you rent a transponder if you're in the 86Cup. Any way, have a f'en good time!!!
