Tell me about it. I turned my off while I'm waiting for my new harness to come in because my faulty voltmeter started smoking up. This car does not pull at all compared to when I had my ESC on.

I have my scheduled dealer visit on Tuesday morning. Will be driving it all day without it, until 5pm when I'll finally fill with E85, then probably midnight when I put the ESC back on after the engine cools a little. Talk about a dramatic difference in one day going from 91oct no boost to E85 ESC. It'll be like Christmas that night.

We have a supermarket chain here that has a gas station on site. The more groceries you buy, the more you save at the pump. Can be up to $2/gal in savings, so it's quite the incentive. I've filled up there many times. Guess you get what you pay for. |

How does the Phantom ESC compare to a standard Supercharger, like the HKS kit? Is it easier on the engine, etc.? Cheaper to purchase; easier to install/uninstall?

1 hour estimate is assuming you remove every trace of the ESC and flash the ECU back to stock while drinking a beer.
In reality i only remove the controller and compressor for dealer visits which only takes 20mins. They haven't asked about the crazy battery set-up or foot switch yet.

Yeah. I remove the compressor, controller, and batteries. 15-20 min job for me. Of course I've done it a lot.

By the time you remove the controller and the compressor, you've already unhooked the post clamps for the ringlets, so lifting the batteries and putting the original back in is trivial. That damn battery tie down though... I don't know if I'm mentally challenged and the only one who hates doing that (no deep socket wrenches for me right now), or if it is that annoying for everyone...
