That's surprising. But it's possible the old Stage 1 map had MAF scaling that was more suitable for your intake. The new v2.0 are certainly better for cars with stock air boxes.

They use different XML templates, the old rom and the 2.01. Rom raider can only read one type of XML at a time, so if u loaded the new XML for the 2.01 all the older roms will not read correctly

Didn't see the answer to this in the thread, maybe I missed it.

There are specific .bin files for E85, 93, and 91 octane. However, there is also a .bin file with no specific fuel requirement. What tune is that for?

Is there any way it didn't upgrade to the correct 2.0 maps and is going off of something else? Is there anyway to check what maps are loaded on my oft?

You can load more than one definition file into Romraider which should mean that you can open multiple ROMs. So long as you have the correct definition file to open both the old file and new you're golden. The definition files should work on any corresponding ROM, it depends if Shiv has used the B01 file and just renamed it as to whether it will work correctly.

I'll see if I can get a 1.59 and 2.01 map open. What's your stock ID out of interest?

The 2.01 rom does not read correctly although it does open with the old xml definition. You've loaded this to your car and it still runs fine?

This is what the 2.01 primary fueling table looks like opened with the old XML on the right vs my modified 1.59.

Romraider will only use one xml even if you've loaded multiple xml. look above. My stock calibration is A01C

Have you tried having RomRaider reference two different XML files for different CAL ids in the "ECU Definition Manager" and then open two different tunes with those CAL ids?

For instance, you could setup a reference to the old XML for A01C and then reference the new XML for B01C in the ECU Definition Manager. As you know, Shiv has the same tune for all the CAL ids, so with this setup, you should be able to open an old tune for A01C and compare it to a new B01C tune. I'm pretty sure RomRaider will associate the right XML def to the different tunes when you open up tunes for different CAL ids.

I was having the same problem as you comparing the tunes because I was trying to compare an old A01C tune to a new A01C tune. All the table values on the old A01C tune looked funky because I was referencing the new A01C XML.

I actually have both of the XML loaded into romraider, but with the older version first on the list. The result was wat u see in the screenshot above. Maybe there is something else I need to do?

Send a message via AIM to Danklvr
put the new xml first on the list, the older xml below. then open the new tune file first - 2.01. then lastly open the old tune file, it will appear below the new tune file that opens up in romraider.

thats what i do, if I'm way wrong someone please let me know. I haven't had any problems moving some of my custom settings (copy / paste from one table to another) from 1.55 to 2.01 OTS tune file.

Actually, you know what may be simpler than what I originally suggested? Keep the older XML first on the list, then open the old tune. Then go back to the ECU Definition Manager and move the new XML to the top of the list and save. Then open the new tune. I just tested this in RomRaider and was able to open an old and new Stg1 A01C tune and compare all the table values with no problem.

Edit: Danklvr already kind of suggested this. Thanks!

Hey Shiv when should we be expecting the Non Beta 2.01 tune ? and what differences do you think you'll be making to it?
