Bumping this so I don't have to start a new thread, just looking for some confirmation:

As I understand it you cannot load music onto the SD card, correct?

The more I dig into these headunits the more I think it will be the first thing I replace on my 2015 next week when it gets here. :X

Correct. The SD card is for maps and other things internal to the head unit only.

Do some research if the unit accepts SDHC its 32GB limit if its SDXC there is no limit...yet.

I have a Kingston 32GB SDXC, and it works fine. very fast. no pause at all.

You can always try putting in 1tb USB drive. To my knowledge it accepted fat32. Working for NTFS format? Never tried it in NTFS.
