I also have a WRB BRZ and I absolutely LOVE IT (although I must admit these pictures you took make this car look 10x better then mine)! Glad you're enjoying the car.

congrats!
i have the jdm clear side marker on my usdm brz, but i'm not sure how to go about in modifying them so they act as blinkers. they currently just turn on when i turn on the headlights. would you happen to know how the side marker wires are routed? is the rear fog light an option or standard on the jdm S model? where's the button to turn it on? i'm curious to know how it's wired up so i can purchase the OEM rear fog light kit in the future. |

Hey hey !! trust me it didn't die, and like the phoenix, it'll rise up soon again ! you guys better stay tuned !!
We decided to give it the beans now, its actually running HKS supercharger V1 and results were awesome all the way, but now its time to go real and serious, so in two weeks BRZ goes back to the shop for : - HKS stroker kit with all the forged internals, pistons, crankshaft, rods - HKS Forged Vcamshaft set - HKS Fuel Injectors. - HKS Supercharger V2 And many other "goodies" Basicaly engine will be emptied, and all moving parts replaced by OEM or beeffed up. Here is the BRZ in its actual Setup: HKS Supercharger V1, HKS full Exhaust, HKS sp coils, HKS clutch+flywheel, Ecutek Custom tune by SCREEN, 350hp at crank 330 nm, it already flies and screams ! but lets see what happens after we finish the built engine .... It will be monumental, and in a car that could be a sleeper ! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Come back soon for more juice, straight from Japan !!!! |

Aren't d2's essentially k sport bbk's. I've heard a lot of bad things about k sport brakes. Do you feel that your current brake bias it correct and do you think these brakes perform just as well or better than well known brands such as stoptech, brembo, etc |

Ksport don't offer this kit and they are made out of "lower" D2 products, this is specific to D2 and this kit has been reviewed by Nobu and many other drivers here in Japan, feedback is the same, it matches Brembo's, AP's , Alcons ... they are that good, bias is perfect , fade in-existent, bite awesome and power porgressive. Matt the B-pedal and you loose your teeth if you have the right rubbers...
Trust me I want the best for this car, and i was going to put Alcons, i tested these D2 with afterthoughts, but fact are facts, they are good ! I can't tell for other cars, other kits, this one kit works awesome for me and many others too who make a living of racing their cars around japan. I had D2 suspensions for couple weeks, they were crap, the HKS SP coils are in an other world, not even close ... but again, those D2 brakes are awesome, and trust me if they were not, you'd see Alcon through my wheels, but so far I have no valid reasons what so ever to change, and will claim so until proven wrong. |
