Final Drive 4.67
What are your impressions? Would you do it and is it worth it for daily drive and occasional track days? No plans going Fi.. Well not in the mean time haha

well, for starters, what do YOU want out of the car. its not a mod for everyone as it makes cruising on the highway a bit annoying depending on you driving habits/exhaust.
if you're committed to staying NA and want the car to be a bit peppier, its a great mod. not easily reversible though so keep that in mind. |

I've got a 4.55. Mod is well worth it. One of the 'must do' mods if you are serious about track working and staying N/A.

I feel like I need this in my automatic, unfortunately I don't see myself taking the risk until the car is below $10k in value. I've decided its anything goes at that point lol.

I have the automatic and went 4.88s. I love it. 60 mph 2500 rpm, 70 mph 2750 rpm. Still gets 35 mpg.

Like everyone has said, depends on your goals. I have 4.56 gearing in my car. When I was N/A, it was a great upgrade. After I went supercharged, to me it loses a lot of its benefits with a lower powered car. On E85 I'm making 285whp. Much more than that you will be shifting too often. On 93 octane I'm making about 240-250whp I'm guessing and it's not as bad. Once I go with more power though I'll have to switch back to a least the stock 4.10 gearing.

Weir performance is where I got mine as well. Have many thousand miles on my setup with no issues. Can't beat their prices.

For you guys who chose 4.56, are you happy with it or would you like to get the 4.67 next time?

Are you in a MT or AT?
I have the 4.8 from Auto Factory (from Japan) in my AT (non-FI) and its been good so far. Have noticed marginally higher fuel consumption, as to be expected. I drive in the pseudo manual mode most of the time, and cruise in 6th gear now. Before this, the 6th gear was never touched.

Highly spirited driving, I just want to ask between the cusco 4.56 and mfactory 4.67 which would you choose. I haven't heard of mfactory before so I'm not so sure if they're reliable or good at all

What transmission do you have? MT or AT? Do you plan to stay NA or go FI in the future? People I know who used the Mfactory FD usually complain of the gear noise from the diff. It seems the gears are cut differently than the Toyota/cusco gears, which sounds like you're driving in reverse all the time. Other than that, the Mfactory 4.88 is a great NA upgrade, more so in an AT car.

4.55 is great for me. Get the TOYOTA part one, as the CUSCO one is just rebranded TOYOTA anyway.
Final drive is a waste of money if you are turbo/super charged. |
