My car's ROM is based on A01C (at least that's what I've been using on the older flashes). Which 2.0 Beta file should I use for the flash? The A01C or the B01C?

Use the same A01C you have always used. All of the v2.0 roms have B01C "guts" inside of them.

Hi guys,
Spent several hours on the dyno this evening putting together a nice safe and drivable E85 map for the ESC 1.5+OFH. Worked out quite well. Test car only has Phantom ESC, OpenFlash Header and, of course, OpenFlash Tablet. Stock airbox, stock filter, stock front pipe, stock exhaust.

I'm happy with the nice flat torque curve as well as a lack of power roll-off up top. Makes for a very quick and responsive car. Still quite conservative and safe with AFR hitting mid to high 11s by peak hp (~7000rpm). Running leaner will give another few hp but it will sacrifice some safety margin that is necessary to have due to variances in cars, fuel, conditions.

I'll drive our car around a bit more for testing purposes. Then I'll the tune out to those who want to test

Cheers,
Shiv
OFT Tune for OFH+Phantom ESC with 1.5 Dump Pack [Beta]

Shiv! You're the man! Can't wait to try this out

Should I look into a custom tune from you for the ESC 1.5dump E85 with OFH? Or will there be an OTS that includes minor tuning changes for the OFH?

New log with the BETA 2.0 map:

http://datazap.me/u/robwbright/07171...og=0&data=1-12

3rd Gear pull:

Boost @ rpm:

4.65 @ 3381

4.5 @ 3658

4.21 @ 3964

4.07 @ 4362

3.63 @ 5228

3.05 @ 6116

2.18 @ 6862

2.03 @ 7131

1.6 @ 7319

1.02 @ 7469

I compared to one of the pulls from the log 3 days ago using the most recent 1.x version. There's a bit more boost on the BETA map.

Wow great boost numbers, can somebody explain to me how a tune changes what boost this system produces? I'm just wondering if these variances are differences based on other factors (battery performance, temperature, etc). Or perhaps if the tune does affect measured boost, could it be actually due to changes in restriction downstream from where boost is measured (ie changes in vvt)?

I have to admit, I skimmed and read the bold part, which included "stock exhaust" -- rereading clearly states OFH was in the tune.

Should probably tone my excitement down and pay attention

I was just thinking today while driving to work how epic the e85 tune will be

I think after this it will finally be time for me to start my cosmetic mods. That way she looks as good as she runs!!!
