And yet you were just complaining about the myopic forum? Clearly anyone who looks at a Genesis and then buys one is uncorrectably myopic.

See this is why I know you are trolling.

You have the nerve to call this forum "myopic", and you post replies without even reading the thread.

when the genesis came out i knew it wasn't gonna go anywhere. its not strong in any department.

1. its not fast if you want a fast car.
2. it doesn't handle well if you want a car that handles well
3. its not a family car since it doesn't have 4 door
4. it doesn't look good even if it tired (2 door or 4 door)
5. its not cheap enough like a civic hatch for ppl to buy another one just as a toy
It just isn't strong/appealing in any area. so no one wins doesn't matter how/when/where you buy it.

it was NEVER appealing to me(or anyone with a real driver's brain) doesn't matter how many threads/arguments are there.

Here we go. Lol.
86...
It's not fast (by any measure)
It doesn't handle well, it's fun handling but two different things
Def not a family car
Looks cheap but subjective
It IS cheap but not cheap enough and slower than a civic si.
It IS appealing for the fun handling. So there's that.

You're turn.

Oh and "drivers brain"? Lol. Save up and get a base z with sport if you want fast and fun.

Some people don't seem to know what handling means or just the basics of chassis design.

Figure 8 numbers in the ballpark of a Ferrari 458, SRT Viper and R8 V10. You'll never get a Genesis, Civic, or most of the lame cars mentioned in this thread to put up these handling numbers or be this capable. Simple as that.

So if you want your leather and sunroof, by all means. Just don't be lame about it.

What's he say troll boy at 3:07 (high grip summer tires on Civic), 5:42 (only knock is wheel and tire combo), 6:25 (Only 0.10 secs better) and 6:32 (putting the Civics tires on the BRZ would make them cost the same and net the BRZ a couple seconds, LOL!)? What does any of that have to do with chassis handling dynamics I talked about?

So yeah, laugh it up for the more expensive Civic SI 'HFP' ($26, 710) with its sticky rubber and sports suspension. Har har.

It's what I've been saying!!! I like the 86!! It's FUN!! I know!! Driven the snot out if them on a track!!

But it's slow. I'd be driving one if it had 100 more hp, same handling and gladly pay $35k.

My 370. I wish it were a bit lighter, a bit cheaper, better interior for $35k. It doesn't. The 3.8 Genesis, wish it were lighter. I wish it were as fun as fun in the twisters as an 86. It's a comparison. If I had my druthers I'd Ben in a Vanquish and 911 Turbo S. Don't have the coin. Anything below $190 grand you're giving some shit up.

not to get involved in this pissing contest but for 35k you could have an 86 with a lot more than 100 more hp
